“What exactly are we looking for?”Rosalie asked Isabella. The pair were in Aro and Sulpicia’s private rooms searching through their stuff. Rosalie had been surprised and pleased that the royals were trusting her to help out with this as it was a very important job. Knowing that the life of one of the kings was on the line made Rosalie proud that she was able to be a part of the investigation. It was just more proof that the royals saw that she had worth. That she wasn’t just a pretty face that couldn’t contribute anything. The Cullens had always made her feel useless and unimportant. Unlike the royals who had shown her respect from the very first meeting. They even used her idea to expose Aro. Bringing down one of the kings being something Rosalie would have never thought she would be responsible for doing.

“Ideally we are looking for a list of Aro’s allies’ names but I doubt that we would be that lucky.”Isabella said as she lifted up the mattress on the bed. They were starting in Aro’s bedroom and Isabella had been very unimpressed with what they had found so far.

“Yeah I don’t think that will happen.”Rosalie agreed.

“What we are looking for is anything suspicious or seems out of place”Isabella told her.

Rosalie held up a harness with a dildo attached to it.”Like this?”

“Eww don’t touch that with your bare hands.”Isabella didn’t want Rosalie’s skin making contact with something that.

“I’m not. I’m using a sock.”Rosalie wasn’t going to touch anything with her bare hands.”Why do you think they have this?”

“For reasons I don’t want to think about.”Isabella wasn’t interested in knowing anything about Aro’s sex life.

“Do you think that Sulpicia looks to others for sex?”Rosalie asked.

“If you were mated to Aro wouldn’t you?”Isabella wouldn’t want to have sex with the man.

Rosalie held back a gag at thinking about having sex with Aro.”Good point.”

“Anything other than that in the drawers?”Isabella wanted to get off the topic of Aro’s sex life.

“The queen has very good taste in lingerie. Unless this stuff is Aro’s.”Rosalie said.

“I wouldn’t be surprised. It would explain the strap on.”Isabella could easily see Aro dressing up in woman’s clothing.

“He does seem like the type who would take the stereotypical role of a woman in the bedroom.”The more Rosalie had learned about Aro she could imagine him as a bottom.

Isabella crawled under the bed and began running her hands over the bed frame as she looked for anything out of place.”Let’s change the subject of what Aro would be like in the bedroom.”

“Maybe we should talk about what you are like in the bedroom.”Rosalie suggested.

“There is nothing to talk about. I have no experience in the bedroom.”Isabella wasn’t ashamed to admit. With her upbringing she never had the opportunity to explore her sexuality.

Rosalie wasn’t that surprised to hear that. She was very pleased to hear it but not surprised.”I doubt that your parents gave you much freedom to date.”

“Growing up I was very isolated and didn’t interact with anyone but a select few people my parents allowed near me. Since I was turned I have been focused on gaining control of my vampire abilities and my gift. Socializing hasn’t been a priority.” Isabella said.

“Well don’t worry I am more than willing to teach you everything you need to know.”Rosalie was actually holding herself back from pouncing on Isabella. She had been excited to get some time alone with Isabella but had understood that her mate was in danger and they needed to help find the threat. Now that she knew that Isabella was a virgin her beast was clawing at the surface all but demanding she claim what belonged to her.

“I don’t doubt that.”Isabella was looking forward to finally having alone time with her mate but needed to make sure she and her family were safe first.

Rosalie finished with the dresser and moved on to the walk in closet. It was filled with overly elaborate dresses and royal robes. She didn’t see what she would consider every day clothes.”Does Aro wear anything other than his robes?”

“I’ve never seen him in anything else.”Isabella got out from under the bed and began going through the bedside table.

“Weird.”Rosalie would have thought he would have had some other clothes than robes.

“He likes for everyone to know he is a king. My parents told me that when they first took over that he would wear a crown everywhere he went. Even if he was just sitting in the library by himself he would refuse to take it off.”Isabella told her.

“Why doesn’t he still wear it?”Rosalie asked.

“He insulted my mother and in retaliation she snatched off his head and crushed it. Then she threatened that he ever got another one she would clamp it around his manhood so tight that it would shatter his dick off.”Isabella loved when her mother told her that story. It was one she asked for as a bedtime story many nights when she was younger.

Rosalie laughed.”If I were him I wouldn’t want to risk it either.”

“My mother isn’t one to make idol threats.”Isabella had never seen her mother not follow through on any of the threats she had heard her make. Moving to the other bedside table Isabella opened the drawer finding two books.”It seems Aro has a thing for god and bondage.”

“What?”Rosalie asked.

“I found a bible and a bdsm manual.”Isabella used a pillow case to pick up the books.

“I bet if you were to search Carlisle’s bedroom you would find the same thing. Actually you would probably find the strap on and lingerie as well. Edward is probably interested in bondage but is too much of a prude to act on it. Especially because he is the one who would be tied up.”Rosalie could easily believe that Carlisle and Edward would be subs. With how repressed Edward was he probably be into some extreme fetishes.

“I don’t have anything against bondage. From the little I know about it some of it even sounds fun.”Isabella said.

“You would want to try bondage?”Rosalie wanted to be sure before she got her hopes up.

“I’m an expert or anything and I know I don’t have a lot of knowledge about it but I find bdsm interesting. I can see the appeal of being tide up and blind folded. Or even introducing some pain. I mean I don’t want to go too far. Like having my limbs being pulled off or set on fire but I would interested in trying some other stuff.”Isabella would be willing to explore bdsm with her mate.

“Well then we will have to get our own books on the subject.”Rosalie was now even more excited about getting her mate alone. She had never had the chance to be dominate with her lovers but had always wanted to be. It was things like this that was just more proof that Isabella was meant to be her mate.

“That will have to wait until another time unfortunately.”Isabella wished they could spend some time playing but they were too busy to take a break.

Rosalie sighed.”Yes it will.”

“I’m done in here how about you?”Isabella asked.

“I didn’t find anything.”Rosalie said.

“Let’s search the sitting room next.”Isabella hoped they would find something worth while.

Rosalie followed her mate into a room that contained a couch, love seat, arm chair, tv stand with tv, shelves full of dvd and blu ray movies, side tables with lamps, and a coffee table covered in magazines. She started with the shelves very surprised with what she found.”Aro watches the X-Files?”

“I don’t know anything about what he watches. I’ve never been in this room before. He doesn’t let people in his personal rooms.”Isabella didn’t even think her parents had been in any of Aro’s rooms other than his office.

“Well he has an affinity for aliens. Not only is the X-Files here but there are seasons of Torchwood, V, Babylon 5, Star Gate Atlantis and Farscape. Plus various movies about alien invasions.”Rosalie listed off.

“He is probably trying to figure out how to contact some so he can form an alliance with them in his quest to take over the world.”Isabella guessed.

“I can see him doing that.”Rosalie couldn’t easily imagine Aro trying to team up with aliens to take over the world.

Isabella shook out the curtains and ran her hands along the window frames.”I’m interested in knowing what allies he has gathered to overthrow the other royals.”

“Do you have anyone in mind?”Rosalie asked.

“The problem Aro has is that he has always ruled by fear and manipulation. That has made him more enemies than friends. I doubt anyone with any real power would align with him. Unless he tried to team up with the Romanians but I doubt he would lower himself to that. Not that they would trust him enough to work with him.”Isabella didn’t think many would side with Aro.

“I have never heard anything good about Aro. Even with Carlisle claiming him as a friend he had nothing positive to say about the man. Whenever he talked about him it always about how ruthless he was and gave us many warnings to stay off his radar.”Rosalie had seen the fear Carlisle had of Aro coming and taking Edward, Jasper and Alice from he coven.

“Aro wasn’t Carlisle’s friend.”Isabella said.

“Carlisle told us he become close with all the kings when he lived at the castle.”Rosalie had heard the many stories of Carlisle spending time with all of the kings.

Isabella laughed at the very idea.”Carlisle is a liar. My parents told me when he lived here they used to make a game out of pissing him off. They would constantly insult his belief that drinking animal blood would be better than drinking human blood.”

“If your parents hated him why he allowed to live in the castle?”Rosalie had been told that Carlisle had been a close confidant to Caius. She however believed Isabella meaning that Carlisle was a liar. It didn’t really surprise her as Carlisle always tried to make himself more important than he really was.

“Aro and Marcus wanted to study him.”Isabella told her.

“How did they study him?”Rosalie asked.

“The would set up various scenarios to test his control. They would order guards to leave bleeding humans outside of rooms he was in. Sometimes they would put them in his personal room. They would also forbid him from feeding at all. Then when he was in a state of frenzy they would provide humans for him to feed off of.”Isabella had wished she was around when they did that to the man.

“But he never fed from humans did he?”Rosalie had never heard of any of this before.

“Of course he did. Why do you think my parents don’t respect him. If he actually refrained and didn’t give in then they would have been completely supportive of his lifestyle. The reason they are so against it is because Carlisle is a giant hypocrite.”It was why Isabella was so against him and his coven as well.

“Carlisle fed from humans?”Rosalie wasn’t sure she actually believed that.

“Carlisle has fed from and killed dozens of humans.”Isabella thought it was common knowledge that Carlisle drank human blood.

“That bastard.”Rosalie was pissed that Carlisle lorded his spotless record over everyone. He even claimed he had more control over his blood lust than Rosalie because he had never killed anyone. Finding out different made her very angry.

“Carlisle is the reason your coven is treated so poorly. It’s not because because you feed from animals. The Denali are well liked and they feed from animals. The difference is that the Denali aren’t sanctimonious about their reasons. They wanted to settle down and they couldn’t do that if they had to hide their kills. They also don’t try to covert others with false claims. Carlisle tries to get people to drink from animals by telling them of his ability to abstain under any condition. As most people know it’s a lie no one respects him.”Isabella knew that Carlisle was not well liked in vampire society because he was known liar.

“I don’t even know what to think about all this.”Rosalie’s mind was racing. She couldn’t even pin point a single thought she wanted to focus on. Everything she had come to believe since she was turned was a lie. A big lie.

“I would bet that Edward knows all about this.”Isabella said.

”He would never admit it if he did.”Rosalie knew that Edward would never say anything to discredit Carlisle. Even if he had the proof he did it.

Isabella moved away from the window and pulled the cushions off the couch.”Carlisle would never admit it either.”

“You’re right even if he were confronted he would stick to the lie.”Rosalie didn’t think Carlisle would ever admit the truth.

“Luckily it’s not your problem anymore.”Isabella flipped the couch over and started undoing the upholstery.

“That’s true. I am no longer a Cullen.”Rosalie was very happy about that.

“You are officially a Volturi now. A trusted member who is involved in top secret missions.”Isabella reached her hand up the back of the couch and ran her hand over the wood. She stopped her hand when she felt a lump. Flipping the couch back over she ripped the fabric from the back.

“Did you find something?”Rosalie figured Isabella had because this was the first time she tore something apart.

“I don’t know.”Isabella pulled away the fabric and saw a usb drive sitting in a pouch stapled to the wooden frame.”I found a usb drive.”

Rosalie set down the movies she was looking through and walked over to Isabella.”This isn’t that great of hiding spot.”

“Aro isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. He probably thought that since only him and Sulpicia were allowed in these rooms he wouldn’t have to hide it that well.”Isabella grabbed the drive and flipped the couch back on it’s feet.

“Do we need to go through everything else?”Rosalie asked.

“Let’s give this to my parents and then we will come back and finish the search.”Isabella suggested.

“They will want to see this as soon as possible.”Rosalie agreed.

“Hopefully this is that list of allies we were hoping to find.”Isabella didn’t know what it was but knew it had to be important for Aro to hide it in his private rooms.

“It would nice if it was.”Rosalie wasn’t counting on it though. Following Isabella out of the room Rosalie hoped that whatever information was found on the drive would lead them closer to dealing with the threat because once it was dealt with she would finally be able to spend some time with her mate. They were a newly mated couple and haven’t even had an hour to spend together to focus on their bond. The fact that her mate was still unmarked was making her beast unhappy. Especially when they were around unmated vampires. Which was common to encounter when they walked through the castle. Rosalie shook away the thought of killing random castle inhabitants and focused on the fact that she was going to be able to kill Carlisle. After finding out about what really happened when he lived at the castle her need for revenge increased tenfold from what it was originally. She had always known the man was a parasite but to learn the depth of his deception made the venom in her veins boil. She was going to enjoy torturing him before killing him and she was going to make sure he knew that she was aware of all the killing he had done. He may never admit it out loud but Rosalie knew he would be upset when she lorded the fact that she had better control than he did. She was just happy she hadn’t drank human blood yet. Yet being the key word because that was something she was planning on doing. It was a nice final fuck you to her former coven.
