“Here goes nothing.”Isabella said as used Rosalie phone to call Tanya. She, Rosalie and Rose had taken refuge in a run down hotel in Istanbul. The city was formally known as Constantinople one of the major cities of the Roman Empire. It was also where the remaining Romanian kings kept their stronghold. Isabella would usually not put in the effort to get a hotel room but they needed a place to store all of Rose’s stolen loot. Isabella wanted to be annoyed with Rose for insisting on dragging all the stuff with them but she knew that it made Rose happy so she didn’t comment. She did refuse to help carry anything and didn’t let Rosalie get involved either. It would slow them down if each of them was overloaded with bags of stuff.

“It won’t be that bad.”Rose said as she finished unpacking all the stuff she stole. She needed to organize it to make more room for future acquisitions. She knew that the Romanian stronghold was going to have some cool stuff and she wanted to have the bag she strapped to her back free so that she had a place to put what she took.

Before Isabella could reply Tanya’s voice came over the phone line.”Hello.”

“Hello Tanya it’s Isabella with Rosalie and Rose.”Isabella told her.

“What the hell how you three been doing?”Tanya demanded.

“We have been searching for Edward and trying to find out what the Romanians are up to.”Isabella knew that wasn’t what Tanya meant. She just wanted to play dumb incase Tanya didn’t know everything they had done.

“To do that you had to attack a coven in Egypt and break into the Volturi castle dismantle Dimitri and Heidi and kidnap the most valuable member of the royal guard?”Tanya asked.

“We got information that Edward had been sent to the coven in Egypt to gain allies to kidnap Bella. When we go there there were over a dozen vampires. We subdued them and questioned the leader who proceeded to tell us about what not only Edward was up to but the Romanians as well.”Isabella explained.

“What did you find out?”Tanya asked.

“Edward went to the Romanians after the Volturi turned him away. There he was sent to Egypt to coordinate with a group of vampires that was gathering to kidnap Bella. He was there for a week before he got inpatient and left. We don’t know where he is but after what we did we are sure he will surface.”Isabella was positive that Edward would show himself soon. He needed people to know he wasn’t scared of the people after him.

“I don’t doubt it as everyone is taking about what you did and the only thing that is known about you guys is that you are after Edward and that you are claiming the human that Edward is bragging about.”Tanya said.

“The fact that Bella is a human is getting around?”Isabella was happy to hear that. It would stop some from seeking her out if they didn’t think Bella could help them.

“Irina told us from what she heard at one of the vampire bars they went to that people think that Edward is trying to start a war with his former coven and that most don’t believe that the gifted vampire he is talking about exists.”Tanya told her.

“That won’t stop everyone from searching her out though.”Rosalie figure that just the chance of someone having Isabella’s gift would be too much for some to pass up.

“True but now you don’t have to rush to change Bella.”Rose frowned when she noticed that a couple necklaces she stole from the castle had tangled together. She would have to find something better to wrap them in so they didn’t get ruined.

“It would actually be a good idea to keep her human for a little while. That way when vampires come they can see that Edward was talking about a human not a vampire. If they come peacefully you can explain that Bella is Edward’s singer.”Isabella knew that would cause a few vampires to pause.

“That would also give Bella some more time with her father and her human friends. She wanted to finish high school so that her father could see her graduate. Now she will get the chance. What did you find out about the Romanians?”Tanya asked.

“They are planning on sending people to kidnap Bella.”Isabella wasn’t surprised by the growling she heard coming from Tanya.

“We aren’t going to let that happen.”Tanya sounded furious.

“They are sending out scouts to see what the situation is first before they make their move. You need to speak to the wolves to alert them of this. I doubt they will be friendly so they need to act first ask questions later and not be afraid of killing them.”Isabella wasn’t worried about the wolves’ safety as they were skilled enough to take on small groups of vampires like the ones Isabella expected to show up.

“I spoke to them already and they seemed very keen on helping out. I doubt they will have an issue killing anyone who thinks it’s a good idea to come after Bella.”Tanya told her.

“They wouldn’t have an issue killing any vampires period. If it wasn’t for the fact that Isabella helped them so much they would have tried to kill all of us.”Rosalie knew that the wolves had been looking for excuses to kill her family ever since they created the treaty.

“I think they are warming up to the rest of us. The fact that we agreed to let them have access to all of the land that was claimed in the treaty and promised that we would still honor our part to never come on their land was probably a point in our favor.”Tanya said.

“Probably.”Isabella was sure the wolves were overjoyed to be able to protect Forks from the influx of vampires that were likely to come.

“Let’s back to what you guys have been up to. Why did you break into the castle dismantle two guards and kidnap Chelsea?”Tanya asked.

“We got information that Dimitri was a spy for the Romanians. A high level spy. We went to the castle to question him. Unfortunately for Heidi she was there with him when we found him. We questioned them, erased their memories of us and made sure they knew we were after Edward and claimed Bella then left them torn apart so that the kings would fear whoever did it.”Isabella told her.

“I can understand that but why did you take Chelsea?”Tanya asked.

“We took Chelsea to let them know that we could. She is the person that keeps the Volturi in line. By taking her it showed that not only were we capable of overthrowing the kings but that we weren’t someone they would want to mess with. It also let them know that we knew their most guarded secrets as from what we could tell not many people knew that Chelsea was the one keeping the guards loyal.”Isabella explained.

“You’re right that most people don’t know that Chelsea was the one keeping them loyal. I thought it was a few people she controlled but from the panic the kings showed when she went missing it proved she was more influential then I thought.”Tanya said.

“Yes and because of that it will make the kings want to know who did it and why. That will make them search out Edward to find out who is after him.”Isabella expected the kings to have sent out a group to get him already.

“And with the extra people looking for him it will make it easier for us to find him.”Tanya concluded.

“If they get him first we will just go and grab him from them and bring him back to Forks for you to take care of.”Isabella was hoping the guard would flush him out soon. That way they could deal with him and move on to the other threats.

“Not that I’m complaining but why are you waiting to kill him?”Tanya asked.

“We just assumed that you would want the opportunity to do it yourself.”Isabella figured that Tanya wanted to be the one to kill the person who made a false claim on her mate.

“If you don’t want to do it I am more than happy to.”Rose would be happy to be the one to kill Edward. She had wanted the chance ever since she met her own centuries ago. The idiot had always followed the laws and she hadn’t gotten the chance yet. Rose was actually surprised Isabella hadn’t given in to the urge as she had known him for a few millennia. Then again he didn’t resurface in her life until Rose had joined Isabella’s coven. He had been laying low with Carlisle and the other Cullens.

“No I want to do it I just didn’t understand why you were going through the hassle to bring him back.”Tanya said.

“It won’t be that much of a hassle. I plan on just having Rose or Rosalie make it so he can’t talk and has to go with us without a fight.”Isabella wasn’t worried about dealing with Edward. He was no more than an annoying fly who she would take pleasure in swatting it he got out of hand.

“What is your plan now that you are waiting for word about Edward?”Tanya asked.

“We have a few more leads to follow to get information. Then once we find Edward we are planning on returning to you guys and preparing for visitors.”Isabella wasn’t going to tell her about going after the Romanians. Tanya would just get mad and Isabella didn’t feel like getting yelled at.

“I will be happy when you find him. Irina will be able to come back and I won’t have to worry about her hanging out in vampire bars.”Tanya said.

“The Irish coven will protect her.”Isabella wasn’t concerned for Irina. It didn’t matter which dimension she met the four of them they always protected Irina and Maggie. That was one of the things that was always the same. Siobhan always sired Maggie. Sometimes Isabella sought out Maggie as a human just to make that happen.

Tanya sighed.”I know they will. I would just prefer her be with me and not hanging around a bunch of unfamiliar vampires.”

“Well the only way to stop her from doing that is for us to find Edward. Which is what we are going to go do now.”Isabella told her.

“I will let you go then. Please have Rosalie call Emmett. After hearing about everything you have been up to he is very worried about her.”Tanya said.

Rosalie flinched hearing that. She had been checking in but it was only short calls telling him she was alright and on the move. Now that he had found out about her exploits she knew that she wasn’t going to be able to get him off the phone quickly.”I’m going to call him soon.”

“Let me know if you find anything and I will do the same.”Tanya said.

“We will.”Isabella replied before disconnecting the call.

“You’re in trouble.”Rose teased Rosalie.

“I really don’t want to call Emmett.”Rosalie would never miss the chance to talk to her mate but in this instance she would have rather done anything to prevent making the phone call.

“Regardless if you want to or not you should do it now because we are leaving soon. I want to make it to the Romanians when the sun come up. That way they won’t get any reinforcements while we are busy killing them.”Isabella figured that the kings had many vampires close enough to come help if they ever got attacked.

“I think I will take this outside.”Rosalie didn’t want her friends to listen to her grovel to Emmett. That and she was probably going to have to promise sexual favors to get forgiveness. It would be very embarrassing to have witnesses to it.

“Stay alert to your surroundings and if you are approached by any vampires use your gift to make them forget they saw you. If you get into trouble just scream and we will come help. Don’t be afraid to kill anyone who is hostel towards you.”Isabella wasn’t worried about Rosalie getting into trouble but wants to make sure she knew how to react if she did.

“Do you think that a vampire will find me?”Rosalie hadn’t thought of being approached being an issue.

Isabella shrugged.”We are close to the Romanian’s strongholds. Their followers could be anywhere.”

“That’s a good point. I’ll just go outside and stand close to our room’s window.”Rosalie would feel safest if she Isabella and Rose could hear her if she screamed.

“I wouldn’t mention to Emmett about what we are going to do to the Romanians.”Rose said.

“I’m not going to.”Rosalie hadn’t even considered telling Emmett their plans.

“Try to be quick.”Isabella told her.

“I will.”Rosalie promised as she made her way out of the room. She was really dreading calling Emmett. Their life was very quiet and safe. They weren’t involved with kidnappings, killings and attacking large covens. They definitely weren’t involved with killing kings. Kings that had many allies including Volturi guard members. Rosalie knew that not only was Emmett going to be upset she put herself in so much danger but that he didn’t get the chance to go on the missions with her. Emmett was a thrill seeker and loved to fight. What she, Isabella and Rose had done was the ultimate adventure. A once in a lifetime experience that Emmett would never have the opportunity to do. Rosalie was going to have to figure out how to make it up to him. How to do that she wasn’t sure but she would. Hopefully Emmett would forgive her eventually. She would have ask Isabella for ideas. Her friend would be able to come up with something worthy of Emmett’s forgiveness.
