The Forgotten Sister 10

“Is the girl secure?”Bella asked Rosalie. The blond vampire had been tasked with settling the newborn and her child in a room where they would stay until they decided what to do with them. Bella didn’t have any real preference. She just wanted to make sure that Tabitha didn’t contact anyone. They had an advantage over the kings with them not knowing what happened to the guards and Bella didn’t want to lose it. Once the kings found out about the dead guards they would have to act. What they would do Bella wasn’t sure but knew it would be something extreme. Maybe even sending an entire army after them. They would have to find them first of course. That would be almost impossible because the Denali weren’t planning on staying at the Cullens for long.

“She is in one of the guest rooms with the door closed. I set a book on the door handle. That way it she opens the door we would hear it fall.”Rosalie was pleased that they allowed Tabitha to stay with her daughter. It gave her hope that the newborn wouldn’t be killed. Rosalie didn’t particularly like Tabitha but didn’t think it was right to leave a child without parents as it was obvious that Edward wasn’t going to make it out of this alive.

“Good. Now we can discuss what our plan is.”Tanya said.

“That would be nice because we are all involved in your crusade now.”Jasper wasn’t that happy about being involved in going against the kings. He had only allowed Alice and himself to be involved because it was obvious the Denali were going to win. That and he didn’t want the Denali to die.

“Just because you helped with the guards doesn’t mean you have to be involved in anything going forward. No one will know you participated unless someone tells the kings. Something I doubt any of us is going to do.”Tanya knew that the only ones who betray them were Carlisle and Edward.

“What are we going to do about Carlisle, Edward and Esme?”Alice asked.

“I say we kill all of them.”Kate figured that was the easiest way to deal with them.

“Is that the right thing to do?”Emmett wasn’t against the idea he just didn’t know if they deserved to die.

“What other options do we have?”Irina didn’t think they would be safe with the trio alive.

“We can leave them like they are and decide what to do with them later, we can let them go or we could kill them.”Bella listed off.

“If we let them go what are the odds that they will contact the kings?”Athenodora wanted to know want kind of threat the trio was.

“Actually before we continue can you explain why you are here? We were all told you were dead.”Alice didn’t understand why everyone thought that the queen was killed.

“It’s a long story that boils down to Caius was gay and used Athenodora as his beard. When Bella went to the castle they realized that they were actually mates and a couple days ago Bella went to the castle where they killed Caius and left without anyone knowing they were there. As to why everyone thinks Dora is dead we aren’t sure. We think it’s because no one knew about their mate bond and had never seen them speak to each other.”Kate smiled at the looks of shock on all the Cullens and Heidi’s faces.

“Wait you guys are mates?”Heidi knew Caius was gay but had no clue that Bella and Athenodora were mated.

“Yes I met Dora on my forth day at the castle. We have been together ever since.”Bella told her.

“How did you keep a mate bond secret for over a thousand years?”Rosalie asked.

“We were very careful to never be seen speaking to each other and masked our reactions when in public. Any time we met up Bella shielded us from view.”Athenodora explained.

“That’s so crazy.”Emmett couldn’t believe that the pair were able to hide their relationship for so long living with all those vampires.

“Anyway back to the Carlisle, Edward, Esme problem.”Tanya needed them to get back on track because she wanted to move on to the next part of the plan. Meeting up with the Irish coven.

“If we let them go they will contact the kings right away. Nothing we say will stop them.”Rosalie said not surprising anybody.

“Carlisle made a comment about dragging my coven and Bella to the castle and being made king. Not only that Bella and Dora overheard both Carlisle and Edward on the phone with the kings asking them to hold off on sending the guard so they could get Bella’s location. Edward had also tried to contact all of us when we went into hiding trying find out where we were. I have no doubt that they would sell out not only us but you guys as well if we let them go.”Kate expected them to try and capture the group of them the first chance they got.

“Knowing that the only logical thing to do is to kill them.”Carmen didn’t want to have to deal with them. Even if they weren’t much of a threat. They would give the kings more numbers on their side though.

“With Edward’s gift he is a danger to all of rest of you and any future allies we gather.”Irina knew that with Edward’s gift none of them would be safe. He would be able to compromise any of the people they came in contact with.

“How are you guys immune to it? Actually how are you guys immune to Alice and the witch twins as well?”Rosalie had noticed that none of the gifted vampires they had gone against were able to effect the Denali.

“That’s none of your concern.”Bella shut down that line of questioning right away. She did not want anyone to know about the blocks.

“Shouldn’t it be though. I mean it would be very helpful if we were immune as well.”Emmett thought being able to block gifts would be a good advantage to have.

“The person who helped us did so with the condition we never tell anyone who they are or how it was done.”Tanya figured that was a good enough lie to stop anymore questions.

“That’s reasonable.”Jasper would prefer to be immune but understood someone having the ability not wanting it to be well known. They would be approached by many for their help. Most of the people probably not being very nice about asking either.

“Once again back to Carlisle, Edward and Esme. All those in favor of killing them raise your hand.”Tanya was unsurprised when the whole group raised their hands.”It’s settled once we work out our plan we will kill the three of them.”

“What are you going to do about Edward’s mate?”Rosalie didn’t want her to die.

“Is she going to be a problem if we kill Edward?”Bella asked.

“I don’t think so. Her bond is stronger with her daughter than it is with Edward. If we explained what was going on she would easily accept the terms. Especially because if she didn’t go along with us the kings would probably target her and the child again.”Jasper said.

“True if we let the three of them go they would go straight to the castle where the child would be exposed many curious vampires. Aro would definitely order testing to be done.”That was the whole reason Irina didn’t go along with Bella’s plan to let them be kidnapped.

“Edward wouldn’t oppose it either. He would probably offer it as a way to get the kings’ favor.”Alice wouldn’t have been surprised if Edward offered his child up to the kings. He would do anything to get ahead.

“So we have a solution to that problem.”Tanya was happy that the Cullen children weren’t clinging to their sire or Esme. She had expected them to fight for at least Esme. It made Tanya realize that she didn’t know the inner workings of the Cullens as well as she thought she did.

“What’s the next part of your plan?”Jasper asked.

“As you know they kings will not take the fact that their most valuable guards have gone missing lightly. Add to the fact that Caius is dead and they most likely think Dora was kidnapped will force their hand. That’s not even getting into them wanting to capture us to force Bella to work for them again.”Tanya knew they kings were going to be furious when they realized that they guards were missing.

“Do they know that Bella was involved in his death?”Heidi was one of the few vampires in the castle that had known about Bella. She had also known of Bella’s hatred of Caius. Everyone who knew about Bella did.

“Most likely. They won’t be able to confirm it however because I didn’t leave any traces behind. Not even my scent. Something that they didn’t know I could do.”Bella told her.

“Then they probably think if you were involved then you had help.”Rosalie said.

“The last update I got was the castle was on lockdown and Aro was reading every occupant individually.”Eleazar had never heard of that happening before. Not even when he lived in the castle.

“That also gives us a little bit more time because we know he won’t find anything. He has go through every single person that is in the castle right now. Which will take a while because there is hundreds of people in the castle at anytime.”If Bella had told Tanya of her plan to kill Caius she would have forbid her sister from doing it. Now that it was done Tanya was more than happy with the results. They gained many advantages from Bella and Athenodora’s actions.

“Give us time to do what?”Jasper really wanted to know what the Denali had implicated them in.

"We are planning on killing the remaining two kings.”Tanya told him causing an instant reaction from the group.

“What the fuck?!”Emmett exclaimed in shock.

“You can’t be serious.”Alice’s voice held the same amount of shock as Emmett’s.

“What can we do to help?”Rosalie asked.

“That’s suicide.”Heidi said.

Tanya gave everyone a moment to get out their comments out. Once they were quiet she spoke.”The kings are never going to stop coming for my family. If it was just about us we would continue to live in hiding and not bother with the rest of the world. That isn’t an option because as you know they are more than willing to involve others to get to us. The only way for not only us to be safe but you guys as well is to kill them.”

“I hate that you’re right.”Jasper knew that the kings would target them over and over again until they got their hands on the Denali. They probably use the relationship the Cullens had with them as a way to force him and Alice to be a part of the guard. They only way to stop that was to kill them.

“How are we going to kill the kings?”Emmett had no clue how they would even breach the castle let alone kill the kings.

“We can easily kill the kings and take over the castle.”Tanya wasn’t worried about overthrowing the kings. After dealing with the guard she was more than confident that they could kill the kings and take the castle without any of them getting hurt to badly.

“Not to doubt you but how can that be?”Alice asked.

“Don’t worry about that. You don’t have to be involved.”Tanya wasn’t going to force the Cullens to help them.

“We are definitely helping.”Rosalie wasn’t going to leave the Denali to deal with this by themselves.

“Are you guys going to take over after the kings are dead?”Jasper knew that someone had to take over but didn’t think the Denali would want the responsibility.

“How we are going to deal with that is the next part of our plan. We are going to visit the Irish coven and try to convince them to take the thrones.”Tanya told him.

“They would be a good choice.”Rosalie would willingly follow the Irish coven if they were the leaders.

“Do you think they will do it?”Alice asked.

“We don’t know for sure but we are hopeful. They are the only ones we could think of that would do a good job.”Tanya really hoped the Irish coven agreed. They didn’t have any other prospects and Tanya definitely didn’t want to be queen.

“They would be fair rulers.”Jasper thought the Irish coven was the perfect choice to take the thrones.

“First we need to get them to agree. To do that we have to visit them. So one of you speak to Edward’s mate and explain what’s going to happen to Edward. The rest of you are welcomed to come with us if you want. We are not going to force you to help us. You are free to do what you want but I would recommend if you don’t come with us to go into hiding. The kings will be sending people after you. It was after all a mission to come kidnap members of your covens that the guards went missing.”Tanya knew that the Cullens would be the first people the kings went after when they realized the guard wasn’t coming back.

“What should I do?”Heidi didn’t want to go back to castle. She just didn’t have any place to go or resources to support herself.

“I would like to offer you an official position in the Denali coven.”Bella told her. She had spoke to her sisters and Carmen and Eleazar and the group agreed that Heidi would be a good fit for their family.

Heidi thought through her options. Knowing that Aro had orchestrated the killing of her coven and forced her to be a guard member she made her feel lost. Bella was the only other person who could understand what she went though. Plus she had always liked Bella. The vampire was always nice to her and they had spoken many times. It made the decisions to join easy.”I would like that very much.”

“Welcome to our family Heidi.”Tanya was more than willing to let Heidi be a part of their coven. The vampire had been through similar things the sisters went through. They were just lucky that only their sire was killed not all of them.

“Thank you.”Heidi said.

“Alright everyone get moving. Those who are going with us go pack. I don’t know if you will get the chance to collect all your personal items anytime soon so take anything you don’t want to lose with you. Someone deal with Edward’s mate. Once that’s done we will kill Edward, Carlisle and Esme and then we will leave. If any of you aren’t going with us I recommend you leave soon as well.” Tanya told them causing the group to all go off on their way to deal with what needed to be done. Things were turning out better than she hoped and Tanya was optimistic that it would continue that way. She wasn’t going to count on it however. Even with their abilities it wasn’t going to be easy to take care of the kings. Killing them would but taking over after they were dead was going to be hard. Maybe not initially but once the new rulers were in power many were going to try and take the thrones for themselves. That meant that the Denali would be staying at the castle for a long time. Something Tanya was not looking forward to. It was the only way to keep them safe however and there was nothing Tanya wouldn’t do to keep her family safe. Even if that meant giving up her freedom and dealing with vampire politics.
