“Is she going to be alright?”Rosalie asked Jane. The pair had just escorted Bella to a room that Rosalie was told was off limits to anyone but Bella and now were on their way to meet with the royals. While Rosalie understood that Bella needed time to herself she was upset that she wasn’t able to make Bella feel better. It made her feel like she was failing as Bella’s mate. Logically Rosalie knew that it wasn’t her fault but her vampire side wasn’t known to rely on logic. It had taken everything in her to not wrap Bella in her arms and hold her tight after Bella not only removed her hood and mask but after Bella’s breakdown as well. Rosalie instincts were demanding she do something. What that something was she didn’t know.

“I don’t know.”Jane said.

“What usually happens when she has this kind of outburst?”Rosalie wondered how Bella reacted when this happened before.

“Every time is different. The longest she locked herself away was for ten days. This being the Cullens I suspect it may be longer.”Jane told her.

“Ten days?”Rosalie didn’t know if she could handle being away from Bella for ten days. Let alone longer.

“It all depends on what triggers her.”Jane wasn’t expecting to see Bella for at least a week.

“Did she always have her room to go?”Rosalie asked.

Jane shook her head.”The room was set up a couple years after Bella was turned. Didyme had done some research on how to deal with mental illnesses and it was one of the suggestions to help calm someone who acted like Bella did.”

“What other stuff do you do to help Bella?”Rosalie was going to do her own research. That way she would know how to handle Bella when she had future outbursts.

“When she gets upset the only thing we can do is be there for her when she needs us.”Jane wished they could do more but Bella didn’t respond well to anything else. Jane stopped before Marcus’ and Didyme’s room and knocked on the door before entering. Once inside she and Rosalie both knelt before the royals.

“You may rise.”Didyme told them.”Now tell me how is Bella?”

“She seemed overwhelmed with guilt at what she had done.”Jane told her.

“Did she speak to you?”Marcus asked.

“No but she did acknowledge us before she went into her room.”Jane said.

“That’s a good sign.”Sulpicia knew that if Bella wasn’t shutting down completely then she would usually not spend to long in her room.

“The fact that she didn’t hurt any of us is also a good sign.”Aro had expected that at least some of them would be losing limbs when the trial had finished.

“I think the fact that she knows that she will get to kill all of them is why she hasn’t reacted as strongly.”Jane figured that Bella even in her anger recognized that she would get more satisfaction out of killing them in arena than being impulsive.

“She does want them to suffer.”Caius could easily believe that Bella would hold back from killing the Cullens so that she could torture them.

“What did she do to Edward?”Rosalie had never seen a vampire pass out before. Except when Alec used his gift.

“When Bella shares her thoughts and feelings with you she can control the intensity of what you feel. As you know what she went through fractured her mind. So when she lets you experience some of the things that happened to her a normal person’s mind can’t handle it. It shuts down to protect itself. From the way she acted Bella probably made Edward see and feel the things that she went through with Victoria.”Marcus explained.

“Are you saying that when she showed me her memories that she probably held back from making me feel how much she felt.”Rosalie asked.

“The first time Bella expressed how she felt about me I was so effected I was unconscious for two days.”That was also when Jane had realized that Bella felt the mate bond a lot stronger than a regular vampire.

“I can’t even imagine what she truly feels then.”Rosalie had been almost overwhelmed with Bella’s feelings. She wasn’t sure if she could have handled anything stronger.

“Bella feels everything a lot stronger than others. It’s why she reacts the way she does.”Didyme told her.

“That being said we need to discuss what to do about the Cullens.”Aro said.

“Do you think Bella would be able to go through another trial?”Marcus asked Jane.

Jane thought about what Bella would do if she had to listen to the Cullens.”No because they will most likely try to talk to her and use their former relationships to manipulate her.”

“It was just lucky for Alice that Bella wasn’t paying attention to her when she tried to claim that we were the ones to hurt her.”Athenodora knew that if Bella heard what the seer had said she would have ripped her apart.

“The fact Alice thought that she could use Bella’s past relationship with Edward shows how despicable she is.”Sulpicia had been about to attack the vampire herself after she said that but Jane was faster.

“If Bella hadn’t needed me I would have had ended Esme when she tried to order Bella to stop what she was doing.”Didyme was glad she hadn’t because now she get the chance to torture the women.

“You may not have killed her but she will never look the same after what you did to her.”Caius had been impressed with the damage his sister had done to the Cullen matriarch.

“It was very satisfying knowing that even though they she would never be as disfigured as Bella that she would still be scarred and unattractive.”Didyme knew it wasn’t the same as Bella but it made her happy that she was able to take away Esme’s beauty. All the Cullens were horribly vain and prided themselves on their appearances. Their imagine being something Carlisle tried to use to entice others to join his coven.

“You should put a mirror in front of her cell.”Rosalie knew that if Esme saw what she looked like it would devastate her.

“That’s a great idea.”Athenodora was impressed that Rosalie of all people would suggest something so cruel.

“She deserves it after the many years of her and Carlisle parading me around showing me off to every coven we came into contact with. Both of them told everyone that it was actually Carlisle’s venom that made me look like this.”Rosalie had been forced to confirm Carlisle’s claim when asked about it.

“Carlisle told people his venom changed you to look like this?”Sulpicia asked.

“Every new person he introduced me to he bragged about not only my looks but the fact that I have never drank human blood. He uses it as proof that his venom is superior to all others.”Rosalie hated when Carlisle claimed her achievements as his own.

”Carlisle of all people thinks his venom is superior.”Caius laughed at the very idea.

“If that was true then he would have been able to keep the newborns he created.”Sulpicia said.

“What do you mean he created newborns?”Rosalie hadn’t heard anything about Carlisle creating newborns.

“When I read Emmett I found out that Carlisle and the others have been turning humans hoping they have gifts. They put them through a series of tests and if they didn’t pass they were destroyed.”Aro told her.

“A series of test that wouldn’t prove if a vampire had a gift or not.”Athenodora had used the fact that Carlisle didn’t know how to properly find out if a vampire was gifted as more proof of his incompetence.

“That doesn’t surprise me. I wasn’t involved in coven business but even I know that he has approached almost every coven and nomad that he thinks hate you to join him to overthrow you.”Rosalie had heard Carlisle’s many rants about how all the vampires he approached were cowards and when he became king he would prosecute all of them for treason.

“We have known that he has wanted to overthrow us since he turned Edward. We let him live because he is no threat. A mistake that unfortunately Bella had to pay the price for.”Marcus would always regret not killing Carlisle when they first found out about his plans. It may have brought Bella into their lives but he would trade finding his daughter to spare her from happened with the nomad any day.

“That brings us back to the original topic. What should we do about the Cullens?”Aro asked.

“Do we even need to hold another trial?”Caius didn’t want to waste time on dealing with the formalities. He wanted to get to the torture.

“I don’t think so. We proved their guilt. All another trial would do is piss us off and most likely lead to all their deaths.”Athenodora was thinking the same thing as her mate. She didn’t want to deal with another trial. She wanted her chance to hurt them.

“Then we need to set a date for the tournament.”Sulpicia wanted to get invitations out and couldn’t without knowing when the event would happen.

“That all depends on Bella.What do you think Jane?”Didyme deferred to Jane as she knew Bella the best.

“I think that we give her a couple days then I will message her and ask her when she wants to do it. Giving her something to focus on other than what happened in the throne room will help her regain control and make her more likely to leave her room.”Jane predicted that Bella would want to take care of the Cullens as soon as possible.

“It would be the perfect incentive to coax her out of her solitude.”Marcus was sure that Bella would leave her room to take care of the Cullens.

“How do we want to deal with the Cullens in the mean time?”Sulpicia asked.

“I say we give Esme some blood to heal, wait until Edward wakes up and have the guards bring all of them to the training room. Then we can all beat on them while they try to defend not only themselves but their coven mates as well.”Athenodora knew that it would cause much more upset if they had to watch each other get beaten on.

“If you do that I can’t be involved.”Rosalie didn’t want to miss her chance at the others.

“That’s a good point. Carlisle would be able to control you.”Caius forgot about the sire command.

“How about we bring all of them up except for Carlisle and let Rosalie have her chance. Then once she is done we bring Carlisle up and we take our turns.”Jane suggested.

“That would work out just fine.”Aro said.

“Then it’s settled. Jane have someone bring Esme blood to heal herself and have them bring word once Edward is awake. When we hear something we will let you know.”Marcus hoped it would soon because although he wasn’t a huge fan of violence he was looking forward to being able to take out his anger on Carlisle. The man was the reason Bella had to go through what she went through.

“I’ll do that right now. Come along Rosalie.”Jane told her.

“Sure.”Rosalie wasn’t sure exactly what they were going to do but hoped they were going to meet up with the sisters.

“Let us know if Bella reaches out to you.”Didyme wanted to know as soon as Bella was ready to talk to them. That way she could be there to reassure her daughter that no-one was upset with her for what she did to the throne room.

“I will.”Jane promised.

“What are we going to do?”Rosalie asked after she and Jane left the room.

“We are going to speak to the guards in charge of the Cullens then I was planning on working on our rooms to make space for your things.”Jane told her.

“Shouldn’t we wait for Bella?”Rosalie didn’t think Bella would appreciate them moving things around.

“We will only be touching my things so it won’t be a problem. That and it’s better to do it now when she isn’t around so the mess doesn’t stress her out.”Jane knew that Bella would be very upset if she had to see their rooms in disarray.

“That makes sense.”Rosalie had seen how organized all of Bella’s wing and the arcade were. She didn’t think Bella would react well if it was being reorganized in front of her. Even if it wasn’t her stuff. Walking beside Jane Rosalie wondered how long Bella would stay in her room. Rosalie was very worried about her mate. If Bella didn’t surface in a couple days she wasn’t sure if she would be able to hold back from searching her out. Rosalie knew that it would be a stupid thing to do and was trying to convince her beast that leaving Bella alone was the best option. Unfortunately her beast wasn’t listening to her and Rosalie was in a constant struggle to keep from going to Bella right away. She just hoped that Jane was right and killing the Cullens would have Bella rejoining them. In the mean time Rosalie was just going to focus on moving into Bella’s wing and the promised beating she would be able to give the Cullens. The thought making her smile. She had waited almost a century to get her revenge and she was going to savor every moment.
