The Forgotten Sister 9

“Here they come.”Kate was feeling deja vu. She once again was standing in the clearing waiting for the Volturi to show up. This time was different because only the Cullens and a few of the wolves were standing with them. Kate made sure to keep an eye on the Cullens as well as the guards coming towards them. Bella had pulled them aside and informed them that both Carlisle and Edward had contacted the kings to try to get them to hold off on sending the guard so they would have the chance to get Bella’s location. Kate fully expected them to try and attack Bella as soon as she showed herself and Kate wanted to be ready to protect her sister. Even if Bella didn’t need the protection.

“I see the six we predicted and a dozen lesser guards.”Tanya said.

“Not as many as I thought they would send.”Irina had expected the kings to send a small army.

“Chelsea doesn’t look happy.”Kate held back a smirk at the look of frustration on Chelsea’s face. It seemed her gift couldn’t get around Bella’s block.

“Welcome back to our home Jane.”Carlisle greeted when the guards stopped a few yards in front of where his group were standing.

“Carlisle we see that you don’t have Isabella like you promised.”Jane observed.

“What do you mean he promised?”Emmett asked.

“Your coven leader spoke to Aro and promised that he would hand over Isabella when we showed up.”Jane told her.

“Carlisle what did you do?!”Rosalie demanded.

“I did what I had to protect my family.”Carlisle’s only regret was that he hadn’t gotten Bella’s location.

“What did the kings offer you?”Jasper was just as upset as Rosalie. The Denali had always been good to them. The sisters made their choice and Carlisle should have respected that.

“It doesn’t matter what they offered.”Carlisle turned his attention back to Jane.”I may not have Bella like I promised but I am delivering the Denali. That should at least secure me the royal adviser position.”

“What the fuck?!”Emmett exclaimed.

“That’s not true. The Denali came voluntarily. Carlisle had no involvement in them being here.”Rosalie wasn’t going to let Carlisle gain anything for the sisters’ selfless act.

“Is that true Tanya?”Jane asked.

“We came here of our own free will. Carlisle had no part in it.”Tanya told her.

“So Carlisle is trying to deceive us.”Jane glared at Carlisle causing the man to drop to the ground and scream in pain.

“No stop!! He didn’t do anything wrong!!”Esme tried to help Carlisle but there was nothing she could do.

“Trying to trick the kings is a big transgression. You should be glad we aren’t killing him.”Heidi said.

“Next time you open your mouth it better be to speak the truth.”Jane warned when Carlisle stopped screaming.

“Let’s get back to the matter at hand.”Heidi said.

“Yes we are here to collect the Denali coven. Now come along we want to get back to the castle.”Jane ordered.

“I think you have the wrong idea here.”Tanya told them.

“What is that supposed to mean?”Dimitri asked.

“That means we may have come here voluntary but we aren’t going to leave with you.”Tanya wasn’t surprised by the looks of confusion on the faces of most of the vampires in clearing.

“Then why are you here if you weren’t planning to leave with us?”Jane asked.

Tanya smirked.“We are here to kill you of course.”

“What?!”Carlisle screeched.

Jane laughed.”You think you can kill us?”

“I know we can kill you.”Tanya nodded to the rest of her family and yelled.”Now.”

“Is that Queen Athenodora?”Alice asked in confusion as she watch who she thought was the queen rush Dimitri with Bella right by her side.

“Isn’t she supposed to be dead?”Emmett was sure that was what they were told.

“Who cares if she is supposed to be dead. We need to help the Denali.”Rosalie wasn’t sure was going on but she wasn’t going to let the Denali die. Running straight for one of the lesser guards she ripped his head off before he even recognized her as a threat.

“Shit!”Emmett exclaimed as he followed after his mate. He didn’t know what she was thinking going against the guards but he was going to help.

“Jasper?”Alice wanted to help as well but she wouldn’t do anything without Jasper.

Jasper took a minute to see the state of things. Carmen and Eleazar were fighting the witch twins and seemed to be winning. Irina had already managed to take one of Chelsea’s arms. Tanya and Kate were working together against Heidi and Bella and Athenodora were facing off against Dimitri and Santiago. From the way it was looking the Denali were going to win the fight. Jasper made his decision.”Stay close to me.”

“Edward go for Bella. I’ll help Jane and Alec.”Carlisle wasn’t going to let the Denali kill the guards. Now that Bella had shown up he was going to get his chance to be king.”Esme help Chelsea.”

“Wolves protect the ones in guard robes.”Edward ordered the wolves. He jumped back when Sam snapped his teeth at him.

“Forget about them Edward. Get Bella.”Carlisle told him.

“I’m going to kill you.”Dimitri roared as he went after Bella. He was down an arm and very pissed.

“I’d like to see you try.”Bella easily side stepped his charge, grabbed him by the other other arm and threw him to Athenodora who put him in a head lock. Bella then with the help of her shield launched herself in the air coming down hard enough on Dimitri’s back that his head snapped from his body.

“Dimitri no!!”Chelsea cried out. In her distraction Irina was able to tackle her and rip her head off.

“What the fuck?”Heidi shook her head not even sure what was going on. It was like she had just come out of fog. Looking around she didn’t know what to think. She didn’t want to die however so she held her hands up when Tanya came at at her. “I surrender.”

“Are we taking prisoners?”Kate called out.

“Who is it?”Bella asked as she dodged a punch from Edward.

“Heidi.”Tanya told her.

Bella thought about she knew about Heidi.”She’s harmless let her go.”

“It’s your lucky day.”Kate said turning her attention away from Heidi and running to help Carmen and Eleazar who not only were fighting the witch twins but Carlisle as well.”Seriously Carlisle this is what you are doing now?”

“Once I help beat all of you I will drag you and Bella back to Italy and I will be made a king!”Carlisle rushed toward Kate with him arms out trying to tackle her. His plan backfired because even though he got his arms around her Kate immediately activated her gift.

“What are we supposed to do with this idiot?”Kate called out again.

Athenodora held a struggling Edward in her arms.“I was going to ask the same about this one.”

“Carmen, Eleazar you two restrain Edward and Carlisle. Kate, Tanya you take care of the twins. I’ll finish off Santiago and them we will all help the Cullens finish with the lesser guards.”Bella ordered. This fight was a lot easier than she expected. Kicking Santiago in the knee and causing his leg to snap off Bella quickly took his head and then rushed to help the Cullens. They weren’t doing to bad but the little one had lost an arm and her mate was distracted by it.

“I’m going to enjoy this.”Kate didn’t wait for a reply as she took off after Jane who had realized that they weren’t going to win this fight and decided to flee with her brother. It was a good thing that Kate was not only fast but she was fueled with her hatred of the pair that made her even faster to be able to catch her. Tackling Jane from behind Kate wasted no time using her gift on the full setting. She took great pleasure hearing Jane’s scream of pain.

“Jane!!”Alec cried out. He rushed to help his sister but was intercepted by Tanya who grabbed him by the throat and slammed him to the ground.

“I have wanted to do this since you and your sadistic twin showed up and exposed Bella.”Tanya punched Alec in the face hard enough that he jaw partially came off. She didn’t stop though she just continued to punch him until his face looked like it had been put through a meat grinder.”Kate your turn.”

“Do you want the killing blow on this one?”Kate asked.

“Yes I would.”Tanya would not miss up the chance to kill Jane. Straddling the small vampire she gave her the same treatment as Alec before ripping her head off.”Let’s go help the others.”

Kate ripped Alec’s head off and stood.”That felt good.”

“Yes it did.”Tanya agreed.”Now let’s go clean up the rest of this mess.”

“Are they dead?”Irina asked as Tanya and Kate came to help them finish off the rest of the guard. There were only four left and Bella was handling them.

“Don’t worry we made them suffer.”Kate told her.

“Good.”Irina wished she got a chance to watch but was happy it was done.

“Alright let’s get a fire started.”Bella said once she was done with the last of the lesser guards.

“Can you explain to us what is going on?”Alice asked as she held her arm to her shoulder to reattach it.

“Unhand me.”Edward demanded when Carmen dragged him to the group.

“The kings will have your heads for this.”Carlisle was very pissed with this whole situation. He wasn’t sure how but he was going to turn all of these people including his children over to the kings. They would have to give him a throne if he was able to give them all these traitors.

“What is going on is that the kings are trying to force Bella to work for them again. To achieve that they plan on capturing myself, Irina and Kate. They will most likely kill at least one of us and throw the other two in the dungeon. We of course weren’t going to let that happen.”Tanya explained.

“What is going to happen to me?”Heidi was very concerned with the situation she found herself in.

“From the way you reacted to Chelsea’s death I suspect that you have been under her control since Aro killed off your coven. He was very pleased when he finally had a reason to eliminate them.”Bella said.

“You are saying that Aro killed my coven just to get me for the guard and to make me a willing subject he had Chelsea use her gift on me?”Heidi asked.

Bella nodded.”It was common practice for Aro to kill covens and take their gifted members. They only reason he didn’t kill mine was because Chelsea’s gift doesn’t work on me.”

“What is going to happen to the guard now that Chelsea is dead?”Rosalie was sure it wasn’t going to be good.

“They still have other vampires that can keep the guard in line. A few might try to rebel but not enough to make a difference.”Bella told her.

“What are we going to do now that we have killed the guards?”Jasper knew that this was now their fight as well. They had stood with the Denali and killed many prominent guard members. That would put a target on their backs.

“What we are going to do is not something I wish to discuss in front of those two morons or their mates.”Bella hadn’t seen Esme do much in the fight but she had tried to help Carlisle. That meant that she would likely cause trouble if she wasn’t contained. Edward’s mate and their child stayed away from the confrontation. Bella wasn’t going to trust the newborn because as Edward’s mate she would side with him.

“How do you want to deal with them?”Kate asked.

“Remove their limbs and put in them in separate rooms.”Bella figured that was the best idea.

“Can I request that Tabitha be allowed to remain free to take care of her child?”Rosalie wasn’t the biggest fan of the vampire but didn’t think it was right for her to be forced away from her child.

“Can she be trusted not to do anything?”Bella wasn’t against the idea she just didn’t want any problems in the future.

“She cares more for the child than she does for Edward.”Rosalie knew that Tabitha wouldn’t risk her or her child’s safety.

“I want her guarded and not be given access to any kind of communication devices.”Bella didn’t need her contacting the kings.

“That’s no problem.”Rosalie was happy that they weren’t going to separate the mother and daughter.

“Kate, Carmen, Eleazar and Irina you four take care of Edward, Carlisle and Esme. After that stay with Tabitha. We will clean up this mess and meet you there when we are done.”Bella told them.

Kate grabbed Edward by the arm and dragged him with her.”Come on asshole we have a date.”

“You can’t do this to me. Do you know who I am?! The kings won’t stand for this.”Edward screeched.

“Are the rooms in your house soundproof?”Bella didn’t want to listen to any of their screaming.

“Every room except for the living room and kitchen.”Alice told her.

“Good now let’s gather all the body parts. I want to deal with this so we can move on to the next part of our plan.”Bella said the others joining in collecting different parts of the guards’ bodies and putting them in a pile. Bella was pleased with the way the fight had gone. She had thought they would have a had a tougher time killing the guards but with the Cullens focusing on the lesser guards it freed up the Denali to focus on the heavy hitters. Bella wondered if she should visit Italy to see the kings reaction to the guard going missing. They wouldn’t know what happened to them unless someone told them and no one was going to incriminate themselves. Bella wasn’t even worried about Heidi. The vampire was obviously shellshocked and Bella expected her to ask to join the Denali coven. It would be something she would talk to Tanya about offering. Usually she wouldn’t but Heidi had lived a life full of tragedy and lost her coven at the hands of Aro. Tanya and her sisters went through the same thing and it would make sense to offer a helping hand to another victim. Bella would worry about that later though. Now she had to burn these limbs and make a plan with their new allies. Hopefully they wouldn’t be as useless as their coven leader.
