“Why don’t you and Rosalie go to our bedroom and lay down. I’ll stay in here and watch some tv.”Victoria suggested. The red head didn’t want to be away from Bella but could tell Rosalie needed to be the sole focus of Bella’s attention. Not that Victoria could blame her. After dealing with Emmett’s betrayal and then being the one to end his life Rosalie had a right to have Bella all to herself. Victoria could tell Rosalie was barely hanging on. Having some privacy with Bella would be the best thing for her.

“Are you sure?”Bella wasn’t opposed to the idea she just didn’t want Victoria to feel neglected.

Victoria easily picked up on what Bella was thinking.”I will be perfectly fine spending time by myself. Rosalie needs you more than I do right now.”

“Alright.”Bella gave Victoria a soft kiss and led Rosalie into their bedroom. She left the door cracked just incase Victoria needed them. Bella laid on the bed and held her arms open for Rosalie who wasted no time snuggling into her. When Rosalie began sobbing again Bella rubbed her hand up and down her back.”It’s going to be alright.”

“I don’t know how.”Rosalie said in-between sobs. Her whole world felt like it was crumbling.

“I know it doesn’t seem like it will ever get better but you have me and Victoria to lean on for help.”Bella told her.

“I just don’t understand how he could have lied to me this whole time. Not only that but how did I not pick up on his lies?”That’s the thing that really bothered Rosalie. She hadn’t even suspected Emmett lying to her.

“What were things like after Emmett was turned?”Bella asked.

“Things hadn’t been that bad living with Carlisle. That’s was one of the reasons I saved Emmett. Once he was turned we became friends but we didn’t really get as close as I thought we were until Alice and Jasper joined the coven. As soon as those two showed up Carlisle became extremely controlling. He limited our freedom and barely allowed us out of his sight. Emmett was treated the same way. We became close because I thought at the time he was the only one who understood what I was going through.”Rosalie said.

“It sounds like Carlisle has been manipulating the situation from the beginning.”Bella wanted to say she was surprised by the lengths that Carlisle went through but the man had proven he would anything to achieve his goals.

“I don’t get why he would though.”Rosalie said.

“Rose you are very beautiful. I’m not bias when I say you are probably the most beautiful vampire in existence. Carlisle saw that and turned you so he would have that beauty as a bargaining chip if he needed to make an alliance in the future. You said he liked to show you off. His goal being that many would hear about your beauty and make him offers to own it.”Bella told her.

“I hate the fact that my whole existence has been dictated by my looks. Even when I was human. My parents used the fact that I was attractive to sell me to Royce. Now we find out that Carlisle was trying to do the same thing. Why can’t anyone see that I’m more than a pretty face?”Rosalie didn’t like the fact that everything in her life centered around how she looked.

Bella gently cradled Rosalie’s face in her hands and kissed her softly.”My love there are people that see you as more than a pretty face. Myself and Victoria are just two of them. Think about the what Tanya told us. She only stayed in contact with Carlisle because of you. I doubt that she meant she only wanted you around to look at you.”

“The Denali have always treated me as an equal.”Rosalie had felt a kinship with the sisters from the moment they met.

“I don’t know the queens that well but I think that if we get to know them better they will think more of you as well. The three of them seemed very impressed with the way you stepped up to kill Emmett.”Bella had seen the pleased smiles on her mothers’ faces when Rosalie pulled Emmett’s head off.

Rosalie thought back over her interactions with the queens.“Athenodora has always spoken to me respectfully.”

“The problem you have had is that the people in your life that were supposed to be supporting and protecting you were the ones that treated you like an object. The people who you have let your guard down and shown who you really are know better than to think of you as shallow. Your beauty isn’t a curse it is what will lead to your enemy’s downfall because they will always underestimate you and just like Emmett you will prove to them why that’s a bad idea.”Bella said.

“I am always underestimated.”Rosalie breaking through the sire command was proof of that. Carlisle wasn’t even worried about what she was doing until he needed her for something. Probably because he had suitor lined up like Tanya said.

“That within itself is a gift. It gives you the ability to be one step ahead of other people.”Bella told her.

“I just wish that I had been one step ahead of Emmett.”Rosalie would probably never fully get over Emmett’s betrayal. He was such a huge part of her life.

“I know sweetheart.”Bella knew it would take a lot of time and reassurance for Rosalie to even begin to feel better.”At least he gave us some good information before you killed him.”

“Hopefully it will lead to some if not all of the Cullens being captured.”Rosalie hated that she had to go though this but Bella was right. At least something came out it.

“I’m sure my mothers will send someone to tell us as soon as they find out anything.”Bella hoped that they would be caught soon. Then she wouldn’t have as much to worry about.

“When this is all over I think you, me and Victoria should go away by ourselves.”Rosalie suggested.

“Where would you want to go?”Bella asked.

“Hey Vic you can come in now.”Rosalie called out. If they were going to be talking about the future then the red head needed to be there.

Victoria peaked her head into the room.“Are you sure?”

“Yeah, I don’t want to talk about Emmett anymore. I want to talk about what to do once this all over.”Rosalie wanted to take a break from the heavy topics and talk about something positive.

“I had a few ideas myself.”Victoria happily climbed into bed laying down on the opposite side of Bella.

“I hope those ideas include us getting our own place far away from civilization.”Bella said.

“How are we going to get the Denali and the queens to let us go?”That was the only roadblock Rosalie saw in their plans.

“We don’t have to ask for permission.”Victoria wasn’t going to let anyone dictate how they lived their lives.

“The problem I see us having with that is even if we don’t ask permission they may just follow us.”Bella could easily imagine the queens and the Denali showing up wherever they settled down.”Especially Kate.”

“We deserve a break.”Rosalie corrected herself.”No we need a break.”

“We do need a break.”Victoria agreed.

“It’s only fair that we get a chance to experience our bond.”Bella wished that they could go off on their own right away. They couldn’t with the Cullens still at large though.

“Do you have any properties we could go to?”Rosalie asked Victoria.

“I have a couple.”Victoria may have been a nomad but she had places she could go when she wanted a break from traveling.

“Then when this whole Cullen situation is over let’s go to one of them. We won’t let anyone stop us.”Bella said.

“If they try you can use your gift on them.”Victoria knew that with her and Bella’s gifts no one would be able to overpower them.

“The three of us are an unstoppable force aren’t we?”Bella wasn’t worried about anyone trying to physically stop them.

“I’m not unstoppable.”Rosalie hated that she was the weakest link out of the trio.

“You are the one who speaks for us. That is more important than Bella’s and my gifts. You have the ability to deescalate situations where as Bella and myself don’t have the skill to do anything other than fight and flee.”Victoria thought out of the three of them Rosalie had the most important role.

“True you are the one who has kept everything calm. Especially right after I woke up.”Bella was of the same thought as Victoria Rosalie was the most important member of the trio.

“I just try to do what I can to help us.”Rosalie wasn’t convinced that she was as important as the others were saying but she knew that both of them believed what they said.

“Well hopefully you can help us get the queens and the Denali to let us go off on our own without a fight.”Bella said.

“Until then why don’t we stay in here until someone bothers us.”Victoria suggested.

“I would like that.”Rosalie didn’t want to have to deal with anyone until it was absolutely necessary.

“What do you want to do?”Bella asked.

“I say we spend some time on the couch watching a movie.”Victoria figured that would be the perfect way to take Rosalie’s mind off of things.

“I like that idea.”Rosalie would love the chance to just exist with her mate and Victoria. They never got the chance unless they were in their bedroom. It would be nice to actually be able to do something other than have sex without being surrounded by people. Not that Rosalie minded having sex it was just nice to do something as mundane as watch tv without a crowd. Plus she wasn’t really in the head space to have sex right then. She was still to upset about Emmett’s betrayal and didn’t want those emotions involved when she was intimate with Bella and Victoria. When they were naked it was about love and devotion. Rosalie didn’t want to taint it with sadness and grief. Following Bella and Victoria to living room and happily snuggling into Bella’s open arms Rosalie was going to let herself enjoy the moment. They had so many negative things that were waiting for them outside of her rooms that she just wanted to forget about them for the time being and spend time with her mate. They had been going non stop since Rosalie met up with Bella. They deserved a break.
