“Your majesty the guards you requested are waiting in the throne room.”A male vampire in a red robe said as he and two other guards approached the group that included the three queens, Bella, Rosalie, Victoria and the Denali that had just walked through the secret entrance of the castle.Bella bristled as the man’s gaze settled on Rosalie and when he gave her an obvious once over focusing on her neck looking for a mating mark Bella growled.That seemed to amuse the man who winked at Bella.Before anyone could interfere Bella was on the move.

“Bella don’t!!”Rosalie screamed as she watched Bella’s eyes turn completely silver and the man crumple to the floor screaming.She made a move to stop her mate when Bella tackled the screaming man and began to rip his head off but was held back by an invisible barrier.

“Shit.”Tanya exclaimed.She moved towards Bella hoping that she would be let through but Bella’s shield kept her out as well.

“Victoria help.”Rosalie pleaded.

”I’m not helping.He purposely provoked her.”Victoria thought the man deserved what he got.

“Come on Bella you are better than this.”Tanya said.

“I think she should kill him.”Sulpicia was of the same thought as Victoria.The man had insulted the Volturi princess.The fact that he didn’t know who Bella was didn’t matter because it was at least obvious that she was a royal guest.

“I agree.He insulted her when it was obvious that Rosalie was her mate.”Athenodora was proud that Bella was defending her bond.She would have done the same thing.

“Bella come on.You need to stop!!”Tanya shouted as she pounded her fist on the invisible barrier.It was no use though because Bella was to far gone in her rage.All that any of them could do was stand by and watch as Bella slowly ripped the man’s head off.

Rosalie sighed in relief when she felt the barrier fall.She rushed forward and pulled Bella into a hug.”Are you ok?”

“I’m fine, why wouldn’t I be?”Bella asked confused.

”Bella you shouldn’t have done that.”Rosalie scolded.

“Why do you prefer him over me?”Bella turned her anger back to the headless man.She should have hurt him more.

“Of course not.”Rosalie easily denied.”I just don’t want you to feel bad when you are calm enough to realize what you did.”

“I won’t feel bad.”Bella assured her.

“God how do you keep getting hotter?”Victoria pulled Bella out of Rosalie’s arms and kissed her passionately.Watching Bella not only defend Rosalie’s honor but thoroughly thrash the man was beyond attractive.Hearing a throat clear Victoria growled ready to kill whoever interrupted them.

Athenodora raised her hands in a non threatening manner.”Easy.”

“How about we continue to our rooms.I was going to originally bring us to the throne room to introduce Bella to her new guards but I don’t think that’s a good idea now.”Didyme wasn’t sure they should expose Bella to anyone else.At least until she was more than a few days old.

“What should we do with Dimitri your majesties?”One of the guards asked.

“Reattach his head, then put him somewhere.I doubt he will be waking up anytime soon.”Sulpicia would prefer to just kill him but she was curious of how Bella’s gift would effect him.He would also be a living example of what would happen if anyone messed with Bella.

“That was awesome Bella.”Kate said after the guards collected Dimitri’s body and head and left.She was beyond proud of her sister for defending her bond but was even more excited by the fact that Bella had easily taken out one of the Volturi’s minions.

“How did it feel when you used your gift?Were you in control of it?”Eleazar asked.

Bella thought about how she felt.”Mostly I was angry and wanted to cause him pain.I didn’t really think of what I wanted to do to him.I just wanted it to be painful.”

“Interesting.”Athenodora went through a list of gifted vampires that would be able to help Bella.”I think we should have you spend some time with Jane.At least to help you train your offensive mental gift.”

“That is a good idea.We need to figure out exactly how her gift works first.It being both offensive and defensive means that she may have to train with numerous vampires.”Sulpicia wasn’t exactly sure how to go about training Bella.Her gift was beyond unique and the queen had never even heard rumors of a vampire being as powerful as the newborn.It would make it hard to find the right vampires to train Bella.

“Jane would be good for the mental aspect as it seems that Bella can use it at will not just to attack those who are attacking her.”Eleazar agreed.

“Have you been able to get a better read on her gift since she has been turned?”Didyme asked him.

Eleazar shook his head.”I haven’t wanted to take the chance of her attacking me.”

“That’s understandable.”Tanya wouldn’t want to chance having Bella use her gift on her either.

“What are you planning on doing to train her?”Rosalie asked knowing that the queens would be the best at helping Bella control her gift.

“I already have some plans to help her.”Kate wasn’t going to be left out of Bella’s training.She had been planning how to help since Bella had been introduced to them.

“We will be in charge of her training.”Sulpicia wasn’t going to let anyone other than Bella’s mothers be in control of Bella’s training.It was their job to make sure their child was taught by the best and there was no better teachers than the elite guard.

“Bella asked me personally to help her.I’m not going to let the guard turn her into some kind of weapon.”Kate didn’t want Bella to be subjected to whatever brainwashing the guard would no doubt try.

“Kate I’m sure the guards will welcome your help.”Tanya knew that there would be many fights ahead of them but they needed to be careful with how much they pushed the queens.Bella wasn’t in her right mind to interfere and deescalate arguments so they wouldn’t have her help to keep them safe.

“Bella what do you think?”Rosalie asked her mate.

“I think that I was promised a private room with my mates.”Bella said.

Victoria pulled Bella closer to her body and whispered into her ear.”And as soon as we get to that room I’m not going to let you leave for days.”

“How long since you have fed?”Tanya asked Rosalie.

“I will be fine for a couple of days.”Rosalie would prefer to feed sooner but she knew that leaving Bella was not going to happen anytime soon.

Bella turned her attention to Rosalie.”You need to feed?”

“I’m fine Bella.”Rosalie promised.

“No, if you need to feed then we should go hunting.”Bella wasn’t going to let her mate starve.

“Really it’s fine.I can wait.”Rosalie said.

“No, you need to feed.I won’t have you being uncomfortable for my selfishness.”Bella knew that Rosalie was over looking her own needs to be there for Bella but she didn't want her mate to be uncomfortable.

“I don’t want to leave you.”Rosalie admitted.

“Then I will go with you.”Bella said.

“Absolutely not.”Sulpicia wasn’t going to let Bella out of the castle anytime soon.Especially to go hunting.

“I have to agree with the queen.It’s not safe for you to go hunting.”Tanya knew that they wouldn’t be able to control the newborn when she was so easily distracted.They had been lucky so far.

“We could hunt for her.”Eleazar volunteered.

“That would be fine.”Didyme would prefer that they didn’t bring in animals to the castle but if it guaranteed that Bella not leave the castle she would allow it.

“Why don’t you take your mate and go do that now.We can get the group settled while you are gone.”And have Carmen as far away from Bella as they could get Sulpicia added in her head.

“No problem.”Eleazar grabbed Carmen by the arm and pulled her towards the hall before she could fight the queen.

“What are we going to do while we are waiting?”Bella asked.Her head was clearing more as time went on.Even though she had the overwhelming need to be alone with her mates she found that she could think of other things as well.She still wasn’t a hundred percent but was starting to get used to her vampire mind.

“We are going to go to my office and discuss the future.”Sulpicia old her.

“What do we need to discuss?”Kate didn’t like the idea of the queens pushing them into an office.It would be hard to defend themselves if they were confined into a room.

“We will begin when there are less ears listening.”Sulpicia said.

“That’s perfectly reasonable.”Tanya said before Kate could complain anymore.She knew that Kate was going to be an even bigger problem in the future and wasn’t looking forward to having to use her position as coven leader to keep her in line.It was something Tanyas didn’t do often as she didn’t like telling others what to do but in this instance it was life or death because eventually Kate would push the queens to far and Tanya doubted that even Bella would be able to protect Kate.Holding back a sigh she followed along with the others after the queens.She didn’t regret her decision to help the triad because even with all the trouble it brought Bella into their lives but she wished they had met under better circumstances.Hopefully life would calm down after this Carlisle nonsense and the triad would be willing to come back to Alaska and stay with the Denali for a while.It would be nice to have some peace with their new coven members,at least Tanya wanted them to be Denali coven members.She still needed to talk to Rosalie about that.Just another thing they all needed to discuss.
