"So you are saying that thousands of years ago people made stones out of sand and used slave labor to build large triangular buildings?Not only that but made ones with giant carvings on them all by hand?”Rose asked Rosalie as the pair and Isabella made their way through Egypt looking for the vampire coven Edward was sent to.Rose had been excited about experiencing new cultures but was having a hard time wrapping her head around pyramids and sphinx.Or more specifically how they were built.

“Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying.”Rosalie confirmed.”However the only proof of how it was done was found in ancient writings and drawings so we don’t have definite proof of how they were made.”

“To bad you aren’t a time traveler as well.Then we could go back and see how they were built.”Rose told Isabella.

“I have enough problems with getting pulled to different dimensions, I don’t need to get pulled back in time as well.”Isabella didn’t want to even imagine having to deal with early civilizations.That would mean even more headaches and probably more time away from her mate and her Rosalie.

“Are we going to have time to go through some of them?”Rose wanted to see what the inside of the buildings were like.

“Not really but if you want you can take Rosalie and go with her while I talk to the coven we are trying to find.”Isabella told her.

Rose shook her head.”No way am I leaving you to deal with a coven of vampires that has an earth mover with them.”

“What do you know about these vampires?”Isabella asked Rosalie.

“Well not much and only what I know is from Carlisle.”Rosalie warned.”But Amun is said to be an extremely paranoid man and keeps the other three members of his coven on a tight leash.He is very worried that Aro will get his hands on Benjamin who is the gifted vampire because Aro was able to recruit Dimitri into the guard.It’s rumored that Chelsea broke the sire bond and redirected it to Aro.”

“Chelsea..Chelsea, I know that name?”Rose was trying to figure out where she heard it.

“You do because I told you about her.We haven’t come across her in our dimension but in a few she uses her gift which can manipulate peoples bonds.She could make you hate your mate and stop feeling the bond.It makes her very dangerous and I have had to kill her a couple times because she wasn’t using her gift for good.”Isabella explained.

“So if this Chelsea vampire has that kind of gift does that mean the Volturi coven are under her spell or can she only manipulate a few people at a time?”Rose asked.

“She can effect as many as she wants.Of interest though is once she’s dead the false bonds break.”Isabella said.

“Does that mean that you have to be by her side constantly?”Rose asked.

Isabella shook her head.”It’s kind of like being drugged.You just need to be exposed regularly.It’s actually possible to break the false bonds as they weaken over time if not reenforced.”

“So do you think that Chelsea is the one holding the Volturi together and not their devotion to Aro?”Rosalie had heard of Chelsea but didn’t realize how powerful her gift was.She thought it only effected a few people.

“Most definitely.Which gives us an advantage if the Volturi try and attack us.”Isabella said.

Rose immediately understood what Isabella meant.”You’re right.If we kill Chelsea there would be utter chaos in the vampire world.”

“Wouldn’t that be bad though?Humans could find out about us if we messed with the people keeping us in line.”Rosalie didn’t like the Volturi but did think it was good to have someone in charge of the vampire population.

“We don’t have to kill her.We can kidnap her and ransom her.Depending on how we do it it could scare the kings enough that they wouldn’t try and mess with you guys for fear of it happening again.”Isabella explained.

“Yeah it may take a couple of times but after having her taken from wherever they have her it would get the point across.”Rose agreed.

“It would save a lot of lives.”Rosalie wasn’t an expert on kidnapping but could see the benefit of it.If they did have to do it she hoped she could be involved.It would be good to get the real life experience.

“Maybe we should just grab her before they even get a chance to attack us.”Rose said.

“You know, you may have a good point.”Isabella was already making the plan.

“Does this mean we get to kidnap someone?”Rose asked excitedly.

“Maybe.”Isabella said.

“What are you thinking?”Rosalie was interested in Isabella’s thought process.

“I’m thinking that we need to talk to Dimitri.While we are there it wouldn’t be to hard to grab Chelsea just to prove we could.We grab her,hold her for a day and then return her.”Isabella said.

“Won’t that guarantee the Volturi come for us?”Rosalie figured the Volturi would definitely hunt them down if they pulled a stunt like that.

“That’s what I’m hoping.”Isabella told her.

“You want to fight them personally?”Rose guessed.

Isabella shrugged.”They are going to come after Bella at some point especially with Edward running his mouth.It would be better if we can control when they come so we can pick how the battle goes.Why not just take care of the future threat now so I don’t get pulled here in the future without any help.”

“You make a good point.The group hanging out at the Cullens have no way of protecting themselves from the Volturi.”Rosalie had told them stories of the governing body and Rose knew if left on their own they would be killed off or forced to serve by Chelsea.

“Let just stop for a second.Are we really planning on infiltrating the Volturi castle and kidnapping one of the most valuable vampires there with only the three of us?”Rosalie wanted to be sure of what they were doing because a part of her couldn’t believe Isabella and Rose would even attempt it.

“Do you think I should go by myself?”Isabella asked.

Rosalie shook her head.”No I just…can we pull it off without getting hurt?”

“Of course we can.”Rose threw her arm around Rosalie’s shoulders.”Me and Isabella have been involved in many kidnapping missions.Both with rescuing the victim and being the kidnappers ourselves.”

“Are you serious?”Hearing that made Rosalie a lot better.

“Rose may be overestimating how many times she has been involved in situations like this but I have done this kind of mission by myself numerous times.If you are worried we can take you home first so you don’t have to be involved.”Isabella wouldn’t force Rosalie to come with them as it would be to a normal person a suicide mission.Not that they would even be caught.

“No I’m going.”Rosalie wasn’t going to be dropped off at home and kept away from the danger.Just being linked to this event would give her all the credit she could ever want in the vampire world.

“That’s the spirit.”Rose cheered as she released Rosalie and slapped her on the back.

Isabella caught Rosalie as she stumbled.”Are you completely sure?You didn’t sign on for any of this.”

“I knew that we were going into dangerous situations when I asked to come with you.I just don’t know what to tell Emmett.”Rosalie was worried about Emmett’s reaction to what they were going to do.

“I find that with my own mate that it’s better to tell him after I’ve done something then before.You know the whole it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission.When he gets really upset I just tell him that Isabella was going to do it by herself and there was no way I wasn’t going to go to keep her safe.”Rose told her.

“I think he is still going to be upset.”Rosalie said.

“Well even though I would prefer he not come with us and stay where he is, if you feel strongly about it we can have him meet us.”Isabella would prefer it just be the three of them but would allow Emmett for Rosalie’s peace of mind.

“Will it make a difference if he is there?”Rosalie asked.

Isabella shrugged.”We don’t need him if that’s what you’re asking.In fact I don’t know him that well but the little I’ve seen he probably wouldn’t follow orders very well and would probably put all of us in danger.”

“If he is like my Emmett he would.”Rose said.

Rosalie hated that Isabella right.Emmett couldn’t be trusted to do what he was told and would probably get them all caught.Isabella would probably get hurt trying to protect him.”I’ll tell him afterwards.”

“I know it’s hard.When I first started going on missions with Isabella I told Emmett everything.He threw many fits and tried to keep from going into danger but I knew it was my calling.I enjoy my work.It can be dangerous but I trust Isabella to keep me safe just like she trusts me to keep her safe.”Rose told her.

“I do trust you both to keep me safe.”Rosalie said.

“Well if we are going to kidnap Chelsea we need to hurry up and talk to Amun.”This was all taking to long and Isabella was worried that something was going to happen to Tanya and Bella.They needed to check in after speaking to Amun and his coven because they hadn’t other than Rosalie talking to Emmett.That conversation only consisting of her telling him that they were on the move and she was alright.Isabella wasn’t going to tell her about going after Chelsea though.Tanya may have been in charge but certain things she didn’t need to know.Isabella would brief them on all the things they had been up to when they got back to the Cullens.She knew if Tanya knew what they were going to do she would be against it and Isabella didn’t take orders from anyone not even her own Queens.
