“Bella, Rosalie so glad you could make it.”Tamera said as she greeted the pair at the door to her parent’s home.The house itself was a modest sized mansion that was on a small parcel of land.Rosalie was surprised because she thought if someone was working for vampires they would have a bit more money to throw around.Human’s loved showing off how wealthy they were and this house wasn’t one of an extremely wealthy person.From what Rosalie could tell they didn’t even have that big of a garage.

“Thank you so much for having us.”Bella held out the box of pastries.”We brought some treats.”

“That is very nice of you.Why don’t you guys come in.”Tamera took the box and led them inside the house.

“This is a lovely house.”Bella honestly thought it was a little over the top with the amount of gold trim, random statues and modern art that looked out of place.Not that she could judge as Bella was sure that people thought most of her homes were over the top.

“My mother will be pleased to hear you like it.”Tamera said.

“What would I be pleased to hear?”A women in her 40’s asked as they made their way into what Rosalie figured was a sitting room.

“Bella was just complimenting the house.”Tamera told the woman.

“Thank you Bella. I worked very hard to decorate it.”The woman held out her hand.”I’m Mary, Tamara’s mother.”

Bella shook the hand letting go as she felt the woman rub her thumb over the back of it.Bella wasn’t sure what that was about but it made her very uncomfortable.“Nice to meet you.This is my girlfriend Rosalie.”

“A pleasure to meet you.”Rosalie looked the woman over noticing the plastic surgery the woman had.The amount of fillers and botox was so obvious Rosalie figured that even humans could identify it.

“You as well Rosalie.”Mary motioned to the couches.”Why don’t you all sit down and I’ll have Margret bring you some refreshments.”

“Oh yeah they brought these.”Tamera handed her mother the box of treats.

“What a nice gesture.”Mary said.

“Come sit down.”Tamera made her way to an arm chair and took a seat.

“Oh before I forget.”Bella handed Tamera a box before taking her seat next to Rosalie on a love seat.”This was delivered yesterday and I thought it was the perfect time to give it to you.”

Tamera opened the box and gasped.”It’s even more beautiful up close.”

“What is it sweetheart?”Mary asked as she made her way over to Tamera to see the necklace.

“It’s the necklace from the auction I told you about.”Tamera told her.”But Bella I really can’t accept this.It’s way to much.”

“I promise it is nothing.The money went to a good cause.”Bella said.

“Well it’s very nice of you.”Mary said.

”Like I said it’s no problem.”Bella wasn’t sure she liked the look Mary gave her.She thought she was just being paranoid but when she felt Rosalie stiffen beside her Bella knew that something wasn’t right.”Did my stylist get in touch with you?”

Tamera nodded.”Alice was very nice.I’m excited to see what the stylist picked out.I’ve never had a personal shopper before.”

“I find it’s easier to have the clothes come to you so you don’t have to go from store to store.”Bella didn’t like sounding like she was spoiled but it was important for people to think that she was frivolous with her money.

“It does make things easier doesn’t it.”Mary agreed.

The ringing doorbell stopped further conversation.Tamera stood up.”I think that is probably them.”

“So Bella I heard that you will be graduating soon.What are you plans for after that?”Mary asked.

“I’m looking into colleges but haven’t quite decided what I want to do.”Bella told her.

“Are you thinking about making D.C your home?”Mary asked.

Bella shrugged.”We haven’t ruled it out but will most likely travel a bit before we settle down.”

“So you are going with her?”Mary asked Rosalie.

“Of course.”Rosalie had to hold back from snapping at the woman.It was obvious she had an interest in Bella and Rosalie didn’t like it one bit.

“I think we should bring these to the den.”Tamera’s voice rang out as she followed by 6 people wheeling in 4 racks of clothing entered the house.

“That’s a good idea.It’s big enough to fit all of that.”Mary said.

“Bella this is Helena.”Tamera introduced a well dressed woman who looked to be in her 50’s with jet black dyed hair.

“It’s lovely to meet you.”Bella stood from her seat and held out her hand.When the woman just stared at her she tried again.”Alice had very good things to say about you.”

That seemed to break the woman out of her stupor.”I’m sorry, it’s just your eyes.I’ve never seen something so magnificent before.”

“Thank you.”Bella quickly wrapped her arm around Rosalie’s waist as she saw her imprint make a move towards Helena.

“Anyway.”Tamera said breaking the uncomfortable situation.”Why don’t you all follow me.”

“I’m going to kill someone before the day is out.”Rosalie hissed quietly enough for only Bella to hear her.

Bella kissed Rosalie’s cheek.”It will be fine sweetheart.”

“Just come through here and you can set everything up.”Tamera told them as they entered a large space that had the furniture moved towards the wall in preparation for the clothing.

“Remember we actually need clothing.”Bella reminded Rosalie.

“I know.”Rosalie grumbled.Two hours later and many outfits tried on Rosalie made her move to get access to the rest of the house.Tamera and Mary were engrossed with the experience with Mary finding out that some of the items fit her as well.”Is it alright if I use the bathroom?”

“Of course it’s down the hall to the left last door on the right.”Mary said barely paying attention to Rosalie.She was to focused on looking at herself in the full length mirror to pay much attention to Rosalie.

“Thanks.”Rosalie made her way out of the door and making sure she shut it behind her made her way down the hall.She listened to make sure there were no humans close before she started opening doors.The first room she found was what looked like a gym.The next some kind of art studio with easels, drawings tables and paintings and sketches hanging on the wall.It was when she opened the last door in the hall that she found an office.”Bingo.”

Double checking to make sure no-one was around Rosalie pulled out the tech she brought with them out of the purse she was carrying.Making her way to the desk she knelt underneath it and placed a bug under the corner out of the way where no one would find it even if they were specifically looking for it.She then went to the bookshelf on the back of the wall and carefully climbed it to place a pinpoint camera facing towards the computer.Adjusting it so that it was completely out of sight she secured it and climb back down to the floor.Double checking to make sure everything was as it seemed, she quickly made her way out of the room and made her way back to the den.Hopefully they were almost done with this whole ordeal because Rosalie really wanted to check in and spend a some time with her mate before they were off on their next mission.
