“Are you sure it’s a good idea to wake him up?”Rosalie asked Bella as she watched her place her hand on Carlisle’s forehead.After dealing with their shock of finding out that Bella was not only a fairy but an angel as well the Denali had dozens of questions.Rosalie along with Sebastian had done their best to answer all of them and after a couple hours of conversation with her siblings being questioned as well Tanya asked that they wake Carlisle up so she could speak to him.Rosalie wasn’t quite sure why Tanya wanted to do that but Bella had agreed so now they were waiting for him to wake up.

“Your cousins obviously do not trust us yet and apparently need to hear Carlisle’s side of the story.”Bella would prefer they not wake Carlisle up at all but would do it if it made the Denali more comfortable.

“How long until he wakes up?”Rosalie asked.

“We have enough time to go down stairs and get settled.”Bella told her as she removed her hand from Carlisle’s forehead.

“Good.”Rosalie held out her hand for Bella to take and hand in hand they made their way to the living room.

“Where is Carlisle?”Tanya asked.

Rosalie led Bella to the love seat and pulled her down to sit next to her.She was unsurprised when the guards immediately surrounded them.Rosalie had seen their unhappiness when told by Bella that Carlisle was going to be woken up.She doubted that they would be leaving Bella and Rosalie alone for the rest of their time at the Cullen home.Sebastian even had guards that had moved to protect Irina as well.Rosalie figured Bella must have said something to them when Rosalie was answering questions.Even though she worried about the situation Rosalie was happy that Bella let her lead when it came to the mated pair.It gave Rosalie a feeling of being a parent to Sebastian as she was starting to consider the man her son.

“He will be down any second.”Bella said.

As predicted Carlisle came down the stairs not a minute later and rushed towards Bella and Rosalie.”How dare you!!”

“Don’t kill him.”Bella told her guards as they created a wall around her and Rosalie and a smaller one around Sebastian and Irina.

“Carlisle calm down.”Tanya couldn’t believe how out of control the normally mild mannered man was.

Carlisle turned his wild eyes to Tanya not having noticed that she or the rest of the Denali were there at all.”I will not calm down.This, this thing has attacked my family.”

“Stand down.”Bella ordered her guards as a few of them advanced on Carlisle.They were obviously offended that Bella was called a thing and Bella knew that if Carlisle kept pushing them Bella wouldn’t be able to stop them from killing the vampire.

“How did they attack your family?”Tanya asked.

“They tore my son apart, put him to sleep and they refuse to wake him up.”Carlisle said.

Kate laughed.”If you consider that attacking your family then I am just as much of a threat then they are.I mean I have taken a limb or two from Edward numerous times.”

Carlisle had to stop himself from screaming at Kate for how wrong she had been to do that as well.He needed the Denali to help him get rid of Bella and her people.”It doesn’t matter.Bella refuses to change myself or Edward back to human.”

“Why won’t she do that?”Tanya had heard Bella’s side of the story and now wanted to hear it from Carlisle.

“Because she is jealous of him of course.”Carlisle said like it was obvious.

Irina rolled her eyes at the explanation.She may have her reservations about Sebastian’s mother but that more had to do with the fact that she wasn’t allowed to be alone with her mate.If anything Bella had been overly polite and even seemed to encourage Sebastian to give the mate bond a chance.”Of course she is.”

“What would she be jealous of Edward for?”Emmett asked.

Carlisle turned his attention to his children feeling his anger come to a boiling point.”I told you all that you were not allowed to be turned.How dare you disobey a direct order from your coven leader!!”

“And what reason did you have for them to be denied a chance to restore their humanity?”Eleazar was confused with this whole situation.Carlisle was usually such a reasonable man but looking at him now it seemed like he was in the middle of a mental breakdown.

“Because Edward wasn’t offered the chance.”Carlisle said.

“So wait, you wanted to deny your children whom you claim to love a chance at humanity something you know all of them have craved because Edward was denied the chance?”Tanya wanted to make sure she understood.The Cullen children had told her this was his reason but Tanya hadn’t believed it.

“Edward deserves to be human more than any of us.”Carlisle told them.

“Why is that?”Carmen asked.

“Edward is a child of god.The embodiment of good.If he was human again he could achieve so much.”Carlisle declared proudly.

“Wait, you are claiming that an angel.”Kate began only to be cut off by Bella.

“I’m not an angel.”Bella said.

“Yes you are.”Rosalie, Sebastian and Irina said at the same time.

“You to?”Bella asked Irina in surprise.

Irina shrugged.”Sebastian has told me enough about you that I have no doubt you are an angel.”

“Anyway.”Kate said getting back on track.”You are claiming an angel is denying another child of god the opportunity to become human because she’s jealous?”

“Yes, she knows that Edward would be so much better than she could ever be so she is selfishly not changing him back.”Carlisle explained.

“Oh man now you did it.”Sebastian mumbled as the fairy guards began hissing at Carlisle.

“I think I understand what’s going on here.”Tanya could see everything clearly now.

“Good then you will help me make Bella change Edward back to human, give him immortally and the shield.”Carlisle was happy that Tanya understood how bad he had been wronged.

Tanya shook her head.”No, I will not.”

“What do you mean?That’s why I called you here!”Carlisle shouted.

“After hearing everything I can not in good conscious side with you.”Tanya said.

“Then you need to leave.”Carlisle wasn’t going to put up with having the Denali traitors in his house anymore.He pointed at the rest of his children.”As matter of fact all of you need to leave.You are no longer part of this family.”

“What?!!”Emmett exclaimed.

“You’re kicking us out?”Alice asked.

Jasper took his wife’s hand in his own.”You knew he was going to do this.”

“He was always going to pick Edward over us.”Veronica just like Alice had expected Carlisle to kick them out.

“Let’s take a step back.”Tanya couldn’t believe Carlisle would actually kick his children out of his home.There had to be something else going on.”Where is Esme?”

“She is keeping Edward’s mate away from the house.”Rosalie told her.

“That’s another thing these cretins have done.Bella refuses to give Edward’s mate immortally.Not only that I’m sure they broke her leg.”Carlisle said.

“Your people broke Edward’s mate’s leg?”Tanya asked.

“Yes, but they were just defending themselves.The girl kicked them first.”Sebastian explained.

“Because they had her pinned to the wall with a hand around her throat.”Carlisle screeched.

“After she insulted my mate and threatened both of us.”Rosalie reminded him.

Tanya rubbed her forehead convinced she was getting a headache.”Is there anyway to call Esme back here?”

“As long as she doesn’t bring the girl I have no issue with Esme returning.”Bella said.

“I don’t want my mate around any of you.”Carlisle didn’t want Esme to be influenced by anyone in the room.

“Can we put him to sleep again?”Kate asked.She was really tired of listening to Carlisle.

“That’s up to you guys.”Bella would prefer it but wasn’t going to overstep her bounds.

“Everyone who agrees Carlisle should be put back to sleep raise your hand.”Veronica watched as everyone in the room including the guards raised their hands.”Then we are agreed.Bella could you please put him back to sleep?”

“Of course.”Bella motioned for one of the guards to grab Carlisle.

“Don’t you dare touch me!!”Carlisle tried to run away from the guards but he wasn’t fast enough.He struggled as hard as he could but it was no use.

“And he’s out.”Emmett said as Carlisle slumped to the ground.

“Put him back upstairs in the bed with his son.”Rosalie told the guards smiling when two of them manhandled Carlisle not so gently up the stairs.If the random thumps she heard meant anything then they weren’t being very careful with the vampire.

“So we just wait for Esme and then what?”Alice asked.

“Well I would like to speak to Esme about everything that has happened.I doubt that she will agree with Carlisle kicking you all out.”Tanya also wanted to know what Esme planned for the future as it seemed that Carlisle wasn’t in his right mind to make decisions.

“He isn’t going to change his mind.”Veronica said.

“I agree.He seems steadfast in want not only us but Bella out of this house.I think if you were to be here when we left he would be alright with your coven.”Jasper wasn’t that concerned with being expelled from the Cullen coven.He had never truly felt part of it to begin with.He only really stuck around for Alice and had always had a plan if they wanted to leave.His only regret was that he doubted that his other siblings would come as well.

“We aren’t going to miss out on the opportunity to turn back into human.”Kate sure as hell wasn’t.Carlisle may have been considered a friend but Kate didn’t feel the need to stand by his side in protest because Edward wasn’t offered the chance.

“So you promise I will still feel the mate bond once I’m changed?”Irina asked Bella.She wanted to become human but she didn’t want to lose her bond with Sebastian.

“The bond is mental.I have no way of taking it away from you safely.Nor would I try.”Bella told her.

“I still feel the bond as strongly as I felt it when I was a vampire.My emotions haven’t dulled at all.”Rosalie said.

“Mine either.I still feel as strongly about Jasper as I did before I was changed.”Alice assured her.

Irina sighed in relief.”Good.”

“How will it affect myself and Kate who are unmated?”Tanya asked.

“You will still have a chance of a mate bond.Your mind was changed when you turned into a vampire and I will not even attempt to mess with it at all.So although your senses will be dulled your emotions will not be.You will still be as passionate and dramatic as you are now.”Bella joked.

Rosalie slapped Bella on the arm.”I’m not dramatic.”

“Of course not sweetheart.”Bella said kissing Rosalie on the cheek.

“Esme said she will be a little while because she is helping out with Lauren at the hospital.Apparently she needed surgery and the hospital was unable to get a hold of Carlisle to help so they had to bring her to a hospital in Seattle.”Alice told them after reading the text from Esme.

“What should we do until then?”Kate asked.

“Bella would you sing for us?”Emmett had been wanting to ask this entire time but his mate forbid him saying it wasn’t the right time.

“I guess I could.”Bella didn’t see a problem with it.

“Can you sing the song you were recording when I met up with you?”Rosalie wanted a chance to hear the song again.Especially because she knew the song was about her and Bella.

Bella motioned to the grand piano in the room by the windows.“Would anyone mind if I used the piano?”

“Be our guest.”Veronica thought it fitting that Bella used Edward’s piano.Something that he refused to let anyone other than himself touch.

“Alright.I’ll sing Rosalie’s song first then I will take a few requests.”Bella said as she made her way over to the piano bench and sat down and got comfortable.She hoped that singing a few songs for the group would relax them a bit after all the drama and chaos.Bella wouldn’t admit it to Rosalie as it would just upset her beloved but Bella was almost at the breaking point herself.Bella’s life was hectic but mostly peaceful and since coming to the Cullens every interaction had been laced with anger and chaos.Even with Carlisle and Edward asleep the knowledge that they would be woken up eventually caused stress to linger in Bella.As she began the first chords of the song Bella reminded herself that all she was doing was for Rosalie and that made everything worth it.
