“You know for a place called Finland I expected a lot more water.You know so things with fins could live here.”Rose said as she, Isabella and Rosalie staked out a farm that Johnny told them he sent recruits to.She was once again bored because Isabella hadn’t let her grab one of the vampires to interrogate.They were just standing around watching and listening. Nothing of interest was being said and Rose wanted to act.That was one of the main reasons that she wasn’t in charge of missions.Where as it was better to be cautious Rose would rather just act and if information wasn’t forthcoming she would just use violence or her gift.Usually she would lead with violence if she could.

“You are just upset that I didn’t let you wrestle the polar bear.”Isabella said.

“It would have been nice.”Rose grumbled.They had come across some of the animals when they passed through Russia but Isabella had forbid Rose from hunting them because they were an endangered species.

“I told you that if you are able to travel with me again I would take you to the dimension with dinosaurs.Then you could fight a t-rex.”Isabella reminded her.

“True but I’ve never seen a polar bear before.”Rose would like to fight some dinosaurs but hated that she had to pass up the chance to fight a new kind of animal.

“I still find it hard to believe that you travel to all these different places.I mean dinosaurs had been extinct long before humans even existed.It’s crazy to think that not only do they exist somewhere else but that you have interacted with them.”Rosalie was still hopeful that Isabella would be able to take her on some trips.She was going to wait to ask because they still had so many things still to deal with.That and she didn’t know if it was actually safe or if Rose would even be able to get home.

“I’ve seen a lot of crazy things in my travels that you would never even believe.”Isabella said.

“Now that I can travel with you I am going to be able to see things for myself.”Rose was beyond excited for all the future adventures she and Isabella were going to have.

“My mate will be very upset if you are the only one who will be able to travel with me.”Isabella was dreading when they finally were able to go home and Tanya found out that Rose had been able to travel with her.”I just hope that everyone realized what happened and doesn’t just think we are missing.”

Rose winced thinking how bad that would be.”I bet they think something bad happened.Especially since we left the boxes unattended.”

“What is in the boxes?”Rosalie asked.

“We were sent to set up a new guard outpost.The things in the boxes were some more vials of different substances like the ones I gave you and Tanya and a few others as well.Some of the other stuff was some of the advance technology Rosalie created to help with different needs for the guards to do their jobs better.”Isabella explained.

“Like what kind of stuff?”Rosalie could barely hold back her excitement at the idea of seeing some of the stuff Isabella and Rose brought with them.The things that they insisted on Rosalie bringing along on this mission alone were amazing.

“When we get back we will show you.We need to do an inventory of what is missing anyway.You actually may be able to use some of it to keep everyone safe.With people knowing about Bella then you will need the help.”Isabella said.

“That’s true. I didn’t even think about what we actually left behind.Only that it wouldn’t be good if anyone found the other boxes.”Rose was now upset with herself for throwing the boxes as she ran at Isabella.Yes she didn’t want her friend to leave but she should have been more careful.

“What’s done is done.”Isabella perked up when it seemed some of the vampires were leaving.”It looks like we finally have something happening.”

“Three vampires are leaving.What should we do?”Rose hoped this meant they could finally make a move.

Isabella watched the three carefully.”None of them are who we need.”

“Which one do we need?”Rosalie asked.

“We need the oldest vampire here.”Isabella told her.

“So how do you want to get him.With those three gone there are only four vampires left.We can easily take care of them.”Rose said.

Isabella thought through their options.She didn’t know if the vampires were coming back or if any more were coming.She hadn’t acted yet because she was worried about Rosalie.She didn’t have the training to help take on that many vampires.Four would be fine however.She turned her attention to Rosalie.”How do you feel about going in there to help take out the four of them?”

“I can do it.”Rosalie quickly agreed.This was what she wanted to be apart of when she asked to come with them.The real world experience would help her cement her place in her coven as someone who knew what they were talking about.Rosalie’s goal was to be more respected by her own kind and being involved with Isabella would help her earn that respect.

“Ok so how do we go about this?”Rose jumped up and down and stretched her arms out.The motions didn’t actually help her body it was just a human habit she brought over with her when she was changed.

“It’s important that we do minimum damage to not only the vampires but the house itself.We need to be ghosts.Leave behind no evidence that we were here.”Isabella told them.

“Got it.Can I still use my daggers?”Rosalie asked.She wasn’t the greatest with just hand to hand and felt more comfortable using her weapons.

Isabella shook her head.”Those would be wounds that couldn’t be explained away.What I want you to do is focus on just one vampire and use your gift to forbid them from moving.The goal is to subdue them not harm them.”

“This is going to be so boring.”Rose grumbled.

“Yes it is now you go through the back, me and Rosalie will go through the front.”Isabella told her.

“Is she going to be alright?”Rosalie asked as she watched Rose walk towards the back of the house mumbling about how unfair it was that she wasn’t allowed to at least maim somebody.

“She’ll be fine.My Rose is just a little blood thirsty.She had a very violent turning and before she met me she didn’t have an outlet for her anger.Once I trained her and she became a member of the guard she finally had a way to work through some of her emotions.With her fists.Fighting bad guys relaxes her because she gets to be violent towards people who deserve it.”Isabella explained.

“That doesn’t sound like a very healthy way to deal with emotions.”Rosalie said.

“We are vampires.It’s in our nature to be violent.Rose just figured out a way to turn that instinct into something therapeutic.”Isabella motioned to the front door.”Come on I can hear her counting.That means we only have a few seconds before she goes in there and kills everyone.”

Rosalie wasn’t sure what to think of Rose.She had a violent turning as well and had turned her revenge into a bloody, violent killing spree.If she really thought about it it was therapeutic to kill those men.Even after all these years she still had anger that she kept bottled up from the events.Maybe she would talk to Rose about it later.She had more important things to think about right now.Like the fact that Isabella had opened the front door.

“What the fuck!!”A male voice yelled.

Rosalie moved quickly and grabbed the first vampire she found which happened to be a dark haired female.The surprise of being attacked confused the vampire enough that Rosalie was able to slam her to the ground with a hand around the vampire’s neck.Grabbing the vampire’s chin she forced the woman to make eye contact.”I want you to lay there and not move a muscle.”

“I got two.”Rose said as she led in two male vampires.She threw them onto the ratty couch.

Isabella dragged a struggling female vampire into the room.“Rosalie if you would?”

“Of course.”Rosalie once again grabbed the chin of the woman and held eye contact.”You will go sit on the couch and not move until you are told otherwise.

“Now that that is out of the way.Let’s get started shall we?”Isabella suggested as she moved to stand in front of the oldest vampire.

“Who the hell are you people?”The male asked.

Rose punched him in the jaw.“I think you’ve got the wrong impression.You don’t ask the questions, we ask the questions.”

“You’re going to pay for that you bitch.”The female on the couch screamed.

“It looks like we got a mated pair.”Rose said.

“What is your name?”Isabella asked the man.When he didn’t answer she motioned to Rose.”Don’t leave any scars.”

Rose punched him in the face repetitively ignoring his mate’s screams.She stopped when Isabella put a hand on her arm.”To much?”

“No, I just want him to be able to speak.”Isabella said.”Now tell me who you are or I will unleash her twin on your mate.”

The man looked beyond mangled but Isabella could see the defiance in his eyes.She motioned to Rosalie and as she took a step towards his mate he spoke.”Ok,ok, my name is Clark.”

“Are you in charge here?”Isabella asked.

“Yes.”Clark said.

“Good then you are going to answer my questions.Who do you work for?”It seemed that Clark was more afraid of his employer than he was Isabella.”Rosalie if you would.”

“Of course Isabella.”Rosalie wasn’t to keen on torturing these people but just kept picturing Bella being torn apart by vampires.Knowing that her sister’s safety was on the line she punched the woman as hard as she could.Pulling her arm back to hit her again she stopped when the man shouted.

“Stop,I’ll tell you everything just leave her alone.”Clark screamed.

“Who do you work for?”Isabella asked again.

“I work for Stephan.”Clark told them.

“Who is Stephan?”Isabella asked.

“He is the rightful king and my sire.”Clark said.

“You work for the Romanians.”Isabella concluded.”Where do you send the vampires that come here?”

Clark once again looked like he wasn’t going to answer.As Rosalie grabbed ahold of his mate’s hair he once again shouted.”All over the world.”

“Do you keep track of where you send them?”Isabella asked.

“Yes, I have a notebook where I keep track of where I send every vampire and what kind of gift they have if they have one.”Clark told them.

“Rose search the house.Rosalie have Clark get you the notebook.Then make him fix his face.”Isabella ordered.

“Sweet.”Rose cheered.

“You will give me the notebook and once you do you will heal your face.Then you will sit back on the couch and not move again.”Rosalie commanded.She followed him as he got up and led her out of the room.Rosalie wondered what they would do next.She also wondered why they had used violence instead of her and Rose using their gifts to make the vampires talk.She knew that Isabella had a reason she did everything and wondered why if they were going to make the vampires forget they were there that they even bothered doing anything at all.She would ask Isabella later.It was just one of the many questions she had for her friend.It seemed like every time they did something Rosalie walked away with a lot more knowledge but even more questions.
