“Your Holiness, there is a car filled with five vampires coming up the driveway.How do you wish for us to proceed?”Errol asked.Bella and Rosalie had been preparing lunch for Rosalie’s brothers and sisters while the four of them spent time in the living room with Sebastian watching a movie.The new humans were still weak but felt good enough to lounge around.Bella figured that since they weren’t used to needing to sleep that it was hard for them to stay in bed to relax.

“Do you know who that would be?”Bella asked Rosalie.

Rosalie shook her head.”I didn’t invite anyone.”

“Errol stay hidden but close.Rosalie and myself will greet the newcomers.If they are hostile you have my permission to act.Don’t kill them though.”Bella knew she needed to add the last part of her order because her guards would have no qualms about killing any perceived threat.

“Of course your holiness.”Errol moved to the back door and as Rosalie watched seemed to disappear into thin air.

“I don’t think I will ever get used to that.”Rosalie said.

“It took Sebastian a while as well.”Bella told her.”Now should we go greet your guests?”

“If it’s five vampires then I have a feeling I know who it is.”Rosalie told her.

“Who?”Bella asked.

“I think with how upset Carlisle is with us it stands to reason that he called someone to help him deal with you.I believe he called our cousins.The Denali live in Alaska and based on how long Carlisle has been passed out and our visitors arriving it would be enough time for them to get here.”Rosalie explained.

“Do you think they will be friendly?”Bella didn’t want to fight any more vampires because she feared that her people wouldn’t hold back from killing anyone.

Rosalie shrugged.”I want to say yes but I also thought Carlisle would be reasonable as well.”

“Well there is no use standing around guessing.They are here.”Bella held the door open for Rosalie and followed the blond to stand on the deck.A black sedan with blacked out windows pulled up to the house and Bella watched with interest as the five vampires got out.

“Hello, Tanya and family.It’s nice to see you.Although we didn’t know to expect you.”Rosalie greeted.Usually it would be the coven leader to initially greet another coven visiting their territory but since Carlisle wasn’t able to Rosalie was the one in charge.Well the others deferred to her so it seemed like she was in charge.It was probably because they feared Bella and her people but Rosalie wasn’t going to complain.

“Holy shit that’s Bella Swan.”Kate ignored Tanya reprimanding look as she stared opened mouth at the famous singer.

“Kate, shut up.”Tanya hissed. They needed to figure out what was going on.Carlisle had called them in a panic saying that an unknown supernatural had attacked his family and he needed help to protect them.Now looking at what she assumed was a human Rosalie she wasn’t sure what to think.”Rosalie is that you?”

“Yes and this is my mate Bella Swan.”Rosalie reached for Bella and put her arm around Bella’s waist.

“Why do you look human now? And where is Carlisle?” Tanya wasn’t sure but she thought she heard another five heartbeats beside Rosalie and Bella’s.The problem was she didn’t smell any humans.

“I look human because I am human.As for where Carlisle is there was an incident that ended with him and Edward being subdued.”Rosalie explained vaguely.

“I don’t understand.”Tanya said.

“Why don’t you come inside and we can speak.”Rosalie offered.

“I think that is a good idea.”Once Rosalie and Bella turned their backs Tanya lowered her voice to barely a whisper.”Why don’t Kate and Eleazar stay out here just in case something is amiss?”

“I kind of want to come inside but I agree that it would be good to have us out here just in case this is a trap.”Kate wanted to know what was going on but something about this whole situation was making her uncomfortable.

“You can listen in while we talk.”Tanya told her.

Eleazar pulled Carmen in for a kiss.”Be safe.”

“Always.”Carmen replied as she took off after Tanya and Irina into the home.

Rosalie held back a smile when only Tanya, Carmen and Irina came inside.It was obvious the coven didn’t trust them but Rosalie didn’t blame them.Carlisle probably told them grand stories about how Bella had wronged him.”Everyone is in the living room eating.”

“Eating?”Tanya questioned.As she followed Rosalie into the living room she noticed that not only did Rosalie seem to be human but four of her siblings as well.

“Hey mom do you want me to….”Sebastian said only to trail off as he was suddenly wrapped up in the arms of one of the blond vampires.He wasn’t exactly sure what was going on but felt the need to interfere when he was suddenly surrounded by guards and the vampire was being held to the ground struggling.

“Let me go!!”Irina demanded as she was being held by what seemed to be a group of humans.She needed to get back to her mate and didn’t appreciate being forced away from him.

“Everyone calm down.Tanya control Irina.”Rosalie demanded.

Tanya was pissed that her sister was being restrained.She wasn’t sure what was going on but knew that Irina didn’t deserve what was happening.”Let her go.”

“What’s going on?”Kate said as she and Eleazar rushed into the house.As soon as she saw Irina being held down she attacked the people holding her only to find herself slammed against a wall with a hand around her throat.She tried using her gift but even at full strength it had no effect on the human holding her.

“Rosalie stop this before someone gets hurt.”Alice pleaded.

“Errol return the two vampires to their coven and protect Sebastian.”Rosalie commanded.

“Yes, your highness.”Errol motioned for the guards to release the vampires and pulled not only Rosalie but Bella into the middle of a protective circle with Sebastian.

“They will leave her alone for now but if any of you attack again I will not be able to help you.”Rosalie warned.

“What is happening?”Emmett asked from his seat on the couch.He had never seen one of the Denali attack a human before so Irina attacking Sebastian was very concerning.

“Irina just found her mate.”Jasper told them.He had thought Bella had lied when she said their gifts would still work because he couldn’t feel anyone’s emotions because of the block.Irina had proven him wrong as soon as she locked eyes with Bella’s son.The amount of love coming from the vampire almost made him dizzy.

“Is that true?”Tanya asked Irina.

“Yes and I don’t appreciate being kept away from him.”Irina growled.

“I’m your mate?”Sebastian was beyond confused.Rosalie had explained vampire mates to him but since he was human he didn’t feel it like a vampire would.

“Rosalie what do you think?”Bella would defer to Rosalie on how she wanted to deal with this.Rosalie would be able to understand the mate bond better than Bella would.Bella also knew that Rosalie would protect Sebastian incase this was a trick.

Rosalie turned her attention to Jasper.”Are you sure?”

“Positive.” Jasper told her.

“I believe Jasper.That means Irina is Sebastian’s mate.”Rosalie held up a hand before Irina could gloat to much.”That doesn’t mean Irina has a right to Sebastian however.”

“He is mine!!”Irina declared angrily.

“No, he is his own person and it is up to him how he wants this relationship to progress.Sebastian is human.He doesn’t feel the mate bond the way you do.”Rosalie wasn’t going to let Sebastian be forced into something he didn’t want.He was her son and her son would always have a choice.”Sebastian what would you like to do?”

“Uhm.I mean I feel a connection to Irina but I don’t know if it’s romantic or not.I mean it would be nice to get to know her.”Sebastian wasn’t sure about starting a relationship with the vampire but he would like to talk to her.

“Fine but if you are going to talk to her alone you will bring guards with you.”Rosalie ignored Irina’s growls.It was obvious Irina wasn’t in control of herself and Rosalie didn’t want her to try biting him.The shield would prevent it but Rosalie didn’t want to take any chances.

“I will not hurt my mate!!”Irina yelled.

“Irina calm down.”Tanya wasn’t happy with this situation but knew that they were completely out matched.Whoever was guarding Rosalie, Bella and Sebastian were not human and they would not be able to fight an unknown threat with just the five of them.She now understood why Carlisle had called her for help.”Where is Carlisle?”

“He is upstairs asleep.”Rosalie told them.

“How is a vampire asleep?Is he human as well?”Tanya asked.

“Carlisle is still a vampire.As for how is he asleep he tried to attack myself and Bella numerous times and finally Bella’s people had enough and put him to sleep.”Rosalie explained.

“What exactly are you?”Eleazar asked Bella. His couldn’t detect any gifts in anyone but Alice,Kate and Jasper and was confused on how the strangers were able to do what they did.

“I will only proceed with this discussion if you remain civilized.”Bella wasn’t going to deal with anymore fighting.She lived a peaceful life and ever since meeting Rosalie’s coven she had been exposed to more violence in those couple days than she had in the last five years all together.

“How dare you suggest we can not control ourselves.My sisters and I are over a thousand years old and you would do well to respect your elders.”Tanya wasn’t going to be talked down to by anyone even an unknown.She and her sisters were more experienced than anyone in this room because Tanya doubted whatever Bella was she was that old.

Sebastian laughed out loud only smiling sheepishly when the attention of the room was on him.”Sorry, it’s just she thinks that mom is young when mom is much older than everyone in this room put together.”

“She’s your mom?”Irina asked.

“How old are you?”Kate asked at the same time.

“Yes, Sebastian is my son and I have been alive for many thousands of years.”Bella told them.

“How about we all sit down and chat.That way we are all on the same page.”Veronica said.She was worried that the next fight that broke out would end with someone or many someones dead.

“Good idea.”Rosalie tugged Bella and Sebastian over to one of the couches and sat.The guards with them repositioned themselves to be able to protect them while still allowing them to interact with the others.

Tanya took the couch across from Rosalie and pulled Irina to sit down next to her.Tanya knew that Irina wanted to be near her mate but Tanya didn’t want anymore trouble.”Is there a way to wake Carlisle up so that he can be a part of this discussion?”

“Now you did it.”Emmett said as the fairy guards all hissed at the idea.

“Waking up Carlisle is not going to happen.It’s non negotiable.”Rosalie added when she saw Tanya about to object.

“Where are Esme and Edward?”Carmen asked.She was somewhat concerned that she hadn’t seen the matriarch.

“Edward is asleep and Esme is taking care of a human problem we had.”Rosalie told her.

“What human problem?”Tanya asked.

“Edward’s mate thought it was a good idea to insult not only Rosalie but Bella as well.The situation escalated and Lauren left with Esme with the instructions not to come back until Bella had left.”Veronica explained.She didn’t particularly like Lauren but didn’t want to see her die.Something that would definitely happen if she returned to the house.

“I see.”Tanya didn’t but wasn’t going to push.It seemed like a lot of things happened and without Carlisle there the Cullens were without a coven leader.Tanya corrected herself.The Cullens weren’t without a coven leader they had a new one and it was Rosalie.A position that Rosalie seemed to have taken with force.”What are your plans now without Carlisle?”

“Carlisle isn’t dead.He’s just asleep.We can wake him up at any time we just choose not to.”Rosalie explained.

“And why was he put to sleep?”Tanya asked.

“Carlisle wasn’t happy that Bella refused to use her gift on Edward and his mate.It escalated into violence and Bella refused to help Carlisle and Esme as well.When Carlisle demanded that Bella turn him and Edward before he would allow Bella to turn anyone else Bella and I refused to do so.He then demanded she leave the house and wasn’t allowed to turn anyone else.The argument turned to violence once again when Carlisle tried to attack myself and Bella. Bella was nice enough to not kill him and instead one of her people put him to sleep.”Rosalie told them.

“Wait Carlisle didn’t want any of you to turn back to human?”Eleazar didn’t understand why the coven leader would be against his children regaining their humanity.The man spent his whole life trying to retain his own.

”No he didn’t really care about us.He was to concerned with Edward.”Alice was still upset about how Carlisle handled everything.He had wanted to sacrifice their chance to become human again all because Edward wouldn’t be able to.

“That sounds about right.”Kate wasn’t surprised that Carlisle would forbid his coven from doing something Edward wasn’t allowed to do.No matter how incredible the opportunity.

“So Bella was the one to change everyone back to human?”Tanya asked.

Rosalie nodded.”Bella has the ability to turn vampires back to human.”

“Would you be willing to offer us the gift as well?”Carmen was more than interested in becoming human again.

Sebastian groaned.”Why did you have to ask?”

“What do you mean?”Tanya was confused by the grimaces on the Cullen’s faces and the scowls on those of Rosalie’s guards.

“No it’s ok Sebastian.”Bella assured him.”If they are as old as they claim and feed off of animals then they have been yearning to find some semblance of humanity for a very long time.They aren’t asking for selfish reasons, they are asking out of desperation.”

“Are you sure?”Rosalie asked.

”Yes, I’m sure.Their hostility towards us isn’t because they want to fight us it’s because as an unknown threat their instincts are demanding they eliminate anything that is stronger than them.It’s vampire nature to want to be the top predator.”Bella explained.”It also helps me over look the unintended insult that Irina is Sebastian’s mate and I was going to offer anyway.”

“Let’s slow down a minute.While becoming human again would be amazing we first need to know what’s going on.Bella hasn’t even told us what she is.”Tanya was more than interested in becoming human again as it was something that she had always wanted.She even spent years trying to find a way to do it but before they got ahead of themselves there was still to many unknowns.

“Rosalie sweetheart why don’t you handle this.I need to make a couple of phone calls.”Bella didn’t want to sit around going over her history again.

“No problem.Come back when you are done though ok.”Rosalie said.

“Will do.”Bella replied.

“So where to start.My mate is an angel.”Rosalie smirked at the slack jawed faces of the Denali.She didn’t mind telling them about Bella especially if Bella used the time to take care of things.It would just hopefully give them more time together later.Much later Rosalie added because she had no doubt that once Bella’s tale was told and the Denali questioned her siblings each would be lining up for Bella to change them back to human as well.
