“Welcome to our home.”Tanya said as she held out her hand to help Isabella out of the car.The group had driven from Forks to Alaska straight through stopping only for gas and bathroom breaks for Kate’s puppy Artemis.It had been one of the most peaceful trips Tanya had made with her coven mostly because she hadn’t been stuck in a car with Kate for hours on end.Tanya had ridden with Rosalie, Isabella, Alice and Jasper.Jasper had sat next to Isabella the whole trip with Rosalie and Tanya taking turns sitting next to their mate and driving while Alice rode shotgun the whole time.It seemed strange to Tanya that no-one was jealous of Jasper being close to Isabella and she chalked it up to the fact that it was obvious that Jasper wasn’t interested in the goddess romantically.If anything Tanya was afraid Jasper would become addicted to what he felt around Isabella.Tanya would bring it up to her mate later.

“It’s beautiful.I didn’t get to see much of it the first time I visited.”Isabella smiled at the way Kate flinched when she mentioned their first meeting.

“Well this is just the outside,let’s get everyone settled and I will give you a proper tour.”As coven leader it was up to Tanya to organize everyone and she wanted it done quickly so that she would get to have some alone time with her mates.

“Is your bedroom going to be big enough for the three of us?”Rosalie asked.

Tanya thought about how much space she had.”It would be on the small side for you and I to live there full time but we can always knock out the wall in between my room and one of the guest rooms to make it bigger.”

“No way!!”Kate said.”That would put your room right next to mine and there is no way I am living next door to Isabella.”

“Kate you really need to let this go.Isabella is not going to harm you.”Tanya told her.

“Of course not because now I have Artemis on my side.”Kate patted her puppy on the head.

Irina rolled her eyes.”So you believe a puppy is going to save you from a goddess.”

“No I believe that the fact that I not only have been praying to the goddess Artemis but named my dog in honor of her will make her protect me.”Kate explained.

“You think by praying and naming a dog after her she will protect you from Isabella?”Emmett chuckled at the very thought.

“I am devoted follower of the goddess.As her follower it is her duty to protect me.”Kate put her hands together and bowed her head.”It is at my goddess’ will that I serve her.”

Edith laughed followed by all the others.”I don’t think that you can be considered a follower after only a couple days of praying to a goddess.”

“Isabella how long do you have to acknowledge a goddess before you are considered a follower?”Irina asked.

“I couldn’t honestly tell you.As I am the goddess of life all that lives are considered my followers.”Isabella motioned to Kate.”Even those who are against me.”

“I am not your follower.”Kate denied.

“Of course not Kate.I have never heard you pray to me for anything concerning the living.”Isabella agreed.

“That doesn’t count.I thought I was praying to one god.I didn’t know about the many different ones.”Kate said.

“Regardless.Do you think that Artemis will protect Kate from you?”Irina asked.

“I have no doubt that if my sister felt that I was threatening someone as religious as Kate she would be very upset with me.I don’t know if it would result in violence but she would definitely bring it up to our father.”Isabella told them.

“See I have the goddess’ protection.”Kate’s face was nothing but smug.

This time it was Edith who rolled her eyes.”Yeah, ok Kate.”

“I think we should take bets on how long she continues to be a devoted follower.”Emmett said.

“Are we talking betting money or something more fun?”Alice asked.

“You can’t play.”Irina quickly shot down the idea of the seer being involved.

Alice pouted.”I won’t cheat.”

“Of course you will and you can’t tell anyone else either.”Edith along with everyone else knew that Alice would tell Jasper just so she could win because he would always give her whatever the prize was.

“You guys can deal with that later.Let’s get this truck unpacked so we can all relax.”Tanya knew if she didn’t get everyone under control soon that they would waste hours involved in nonsense.

“Which is your stuff?”Isabella asked Rosalie.

Rosalie pointed to a pile of boxes and garment bags Emmett pulled out of the truck.”Just that stuff.”

“Think about where you want to the bring the boxes.”Isabella said as she laid her hand on Rosalie’s arm.

“Why do I..”Before Rosalie could finish her sentence she found herself, all her stuff and Isabella in Tanya’s room.”That’s a neat trick.”

“I’d figured it would be faster.”Isabella told her.

Tanya burst into the room seconds later looking bewildered.”That was crazy,one minute you were there the next you weren’t.”

“I wanted to get it done quickly.I hope you don’t mind?”Isabella asked.

“Not at all but Emmett is beyond upset that he has to move everything else by hand.”Tanya told her.

“I can go help the others if you want me to?”Isabella offered.

Tanya shook her head.”They’ll be fine on their own.”

“Now that the moving is done I’ll wait to unpack until we figure out our living arrangements.”Rosalie figured that it would be better to just unpack the essentials and leave the rest until they decided how to remodel Tanya’s room to make it big enough for her and Isabella to move in as well.

“So what happens now?”Isabella wasn’t exactly sure what the vampires did during the day.

“What do you mean?”Tanya asked.

“I mean now that you are all moved in what happens now?”Isabella didn’t know if she was expected to do something or if they had a schedule to keep.

“Well eventually we need to go over what needs to be done to prepare for Carlisle and Edward.Plus set up some training but in the mean time we can do anything we want.”Tanya told her.

“Well what is it that you want to do?”Isabella never was one to have free time.She was always in her realm or visiting others so it was rare for her not to have anything to do.

“Why don’t we just hang out in here for a little while.”Rosalie suggested.

Tanya laid down on her bed and patted the space next to her.”Why don’t we sit on the bed and talk for a little bit?”

“That’s a great idea.”Rosalie grabbed Isabella’s hand and pulled her onto the bed positioning the goddess between her and Tanya.

“So what do you usually do to fill your days?”Isabella asked.

“My family and I spend time together watching tv, playing games and until recently hunting.”Tanya said.”Like I told you both for the past few decades I have been traveling so I haven’t been home often.When I was away I explored the area I was in and went to bars and clubs where I could interact with the most people.”

“What are you going to do now that you no longer have to spend your time looking to find your mate?”Isabella wondered if Tanya was still going to travel or stay home more.

Tanya shrugged.”I don’t know.I hope to spend more time with the two of you but other than that I will probably spend more time focusing on my coven leader duties.I have been slacking off and making the others somewhat fend for themselves.”

“I think I am going to dedicate more of my time to training.Until we actually decide to become pregnant then I’m going to focus on keeping the baby and myself healthy.Of course spending as much time as I can with the both of you as well.”Rosalie figured once she was pregnant she would be to paranoid of something happening to the baby to be to active.

“Do you worry about Carlisle and Edward actually being a threat to any of you?”Isabella asked.

“Not really.They have no one backing them to be any kind of threat.”Rosalie said.

“Yeah not many of our kind like either of them.Then there is the fact that they don’t like a lot of other people as well.It doesn’t add up to them becoming a huge threat to all of us.Especially with the numbers and gifts we have on our side.”Tanya wasn’t to worried about Carlisle and Edward.It was others she was worried about.”I do think we need to worry about the Volturi coming for us.”

“That’s a good point.Once they find out that we have a goddess in our coven and the children they will be at our doorstep with an army no doubt.I wouldn’t be surprised if they sent people as soon as they learn about you.”Rosalie knew the royals wouldn’t stand for having someone as powerful as Isabella not being a part of the guard.They would either want to capture her or kill her.

“We will know if someone comes onto your land.”Seeing the confused expressions Isabella explained.”My domain includes all living beings that means the plant life and animals that live near here will alert me to anything that isn’t supposed to be there.”

“That’s good to know.”That would mean Tanya wouldn’t have to force her coven to begin patrols.They needed to settle in and get used to living with each other before they could mix well enough to trust each other to have each other’s backs.

Rosalie put her arm around Isabella and snuggled into her side.“One less thing to worry about.”

“Yes it is.”Isabella agreed as she ran her hand through Rosalie’s hair.

Tanya not wanting to be left out leaned over Isabella to softly kiss Rosalie then kissed Isabella right after before settling with her arm over Isabella as well.”So now that we have not only time but privacy what should we do?”

“I can think of a few things.”Rosalie said as she rolled on top of Isabella and kissed her passionately.

“I like where this is going.”Tanya said as she slid her hand under Rosalie’s shirt and scratched her nails over Rosalie back.She smiled when Rosalie arched her body closer to Isabella.This was exactly what Tanya was hoping would happen when they got to Alaska and was happy that Isabella was just as enthusiastic as Rosalie and Tanya were.She didn’t know what her mate’s experience was but figured being alive as long as Isabella had been she must have some.They probably should have discussed that before it turned into anything.Tanya would bring it up later.Now she wanted to enjoy her mates physically.Well as physically as Isabella was comfortable with.Tanya wasn’t going to push Isabella even though she was more than ready for them to actually have sex.It was obvious that Isabella wasn’t to that point yet and Tanya didn’t want scare her off if she and Rosalie pushed for to much.That didn’t mean she wasn’t going to enjoy herself however.She may have restraint but she was still a newly mated vampire.
