“I think that’s the guy.”Rose said as she,Isabella and Rosalie watched a brown haired vampire with a goatee walk towards the bar they had left.The man didn’t see them as Isabella had them shielded from sight and sound.They had been waiting for a couple hours and Rose had been getting beyond annoyed the man took so long to show up.She had hoped that one of the bar patrons would have contacted him to tell him about Rose, Isabella, and Rosalie’s visit and he would have shown up earlier looking for them.Waiting was Rose’s least favorite part of missions and because this guy had kept them so long she was going to make her displeasure known once they caught him.

“One way to find out.”Isabella dropped the shield and yelled out.”Hey Johnny.”

The Vampire in question turned his attention to the three of them and smiled.”Well hello ladies.What can ole Johnny do for you?”

“Grab him.”Isabella said.

Rose moved before Isabella finished speaking and had Johnny in a head lock.”Stop squirming you idiot or I’m going to really hurt you.”

“What the fuck are you doing?Let me go!!”Johnny screeched.

“Nobody can hear you Johnny.”Isabella had put up the shield as soon as Rose had made a move towards the man.

“What do you want from me?”Johnny asked as he continued to struggle.

“Oh for fuck’s sake.”Rose maneuvered Johnny’s body around until she finally got a hand around his throat and was able to make eye contact with the man.”I want you to stop fighting us.”

Johnny’s body went limp immediately.”What the hell?”

“Good boy.”Rose patted the man on the head and grabbed his arm.”Where should we take him?”

“That fishing shack we saw on our way here.”Isabella thought that was the perfect spot since it was abandoned and there weren’t any neighbors for miles.

“Meet you you there.”Rose said as she grabbed Johnny, threw him over her shoulder and ran off with him.

“Is she going to hurt him?”Rosalie asked.

Isabella shrugged.”It depends on how annoyed she is.”

“Oh.”Rosalie didn’t know how she felt about hurting the man even if he was working with Edward.As she ran after Isabella and Rose she wondered if she should just go back to Forks.She quickly dismissed that idea.Rosalie knew that if she wanted to be seen as a leader within her coven she would have to start being involved in more serious situations.The Cullen coven was being targeted and Rosalie wanted to be sitting at the table with the decision makers when hard choices were needed to be made.She couldn’t do that if she got queazy over watching an interrogation.

“How do you want to play this?”Rose asked when Isabella and Rosalie caught up with her.

“I think you deserve to be in charge of our guest.”Isabella knew that Rose was getting restless so letting her be in charge of questioning Johnny would make her happy.

“Yes!!”Rose cheered. She turned to Johnny who was sitting in a rusted metal chair and smiled widely.”We are going to have so much fun together.”

Hearing Johnny gulp Isabella smiled as well.”Just remember he has to be physically able to answer the questions.”

“Oh don’t worry Johnny here will tell us everything we want to know.”Rose motioned Rosalie over.”I think this is the perfect time for you to practice with your gift.”

Rosalie straightened a bit as she steadied her resolve.She would not let Rose or Isabella’s confidence in her be for nothing.Walking up to Rose she asked.”What should I do?”

“Well we are going to ask Johnny some questions.I initially was going to compel him to answer but I think it would be better if instead of that we just ask him a question and every time he either refuses to answer or lies to us you compel him to do something.”Rose told her.

“I can do that.”Rosalie easily agreed.She knew that she needed to practice with her gift to get as good as Rose was with hers and didn’t have many chances to use it.

“Good now Johnny?You know I never asked.Is it ok to call you Johnny?”Rose asked.

“Who the fuck are you?”It was obvious that Johnny was trying to sound tough but the quiver in his voice gave away his fear.

“Oh man you didn’t answer my question.You know what that means.”Rose pointed to Rosalie.

Rosalie thought through what she could make the man do and settled on something simple that would get the point across.Looking the man in the eye she spoke.”I want you to bite your right index finger off of your own body.”

“What I’m not going to……”Johnny stopped talking as he bit his finger off.

Rose laughed when Johnny started screaming.”You aren’t going to what Johnny?”

“What the fuck!!!!”Johnny screeched.When Rose moved close to him again he scrambled backwards.”Stay away from me!!”

“That hurts my feelings Johnny.I thought we were on the way to being friends.”Rose told him.

“I’m not your friend you freak!!”Johnny said as he crawled into a corner of the room.

“I guess that means I should stop being friendly.”Rose bared her teeth at the man causing him to flinch.”Now Johnny if you don’t want my more sadistic twin to have a go at you again you are going to answer some questions.”

“Fine just keep her away from me.”Johnny said.

“Good.First question who are you recruiting for?”Rosalie asked.

“I don’t know what you are talking about.”From the way Johnny suddenly went still they all knew he was lying.

Rosalie didn’t even wait to be told she simply grabbed the man’s chin,made easier by the fact he couldn’t fight her and commanded.”I want you to claw your right ear off of your head.”

“Please don’t make…”Johnny didn’t finish yet again when he grabbed his right ear and with his fingers clawed it off of his head.

“Do you want another chance to answer?”Rose asked ignoring the man’s screams.She was highly impressed with Rosalie’s use of her gift.Rose had feared that Rosalie wouldn’t have the stomach to do anything that intense but her counterpart was making her beyond proud.

Johnny held his hand to his head as he sobbed.”Dimitri, I’m recruiting for a vampire named Dimitri.”

“The Volturi guard Dimitri?”Rosalie asked.

Johnny nodded.”He is part of a group of us that want to see the Volturi’s reign end.”

“How well do you know Dimitri?”Rose asked.

When it looked like he wasn’t going to answer Rosalie took a step towards him.”We were coven mates before he was recruited.”

“Who is Dimitri working for?”Rose was trying to figure out how all the piece fit together.

“I don’t know.Dimitri reached out to me and asked if I would be willing to recruit other like minded vampires.He didn’t tell me who was in charge.”Johnny told them.

“When you find a vampire who do you send them to?”Isabella asked.

“I sent them to a safe house in Finland. From there they are sent to different places depending on their skills and where they are needed.”Johnny explained.

Rose turned her attention to Isabella.”What are you thinking?”

“I’m thinking that we are going to need a map so we can find this place called Finland.”Isabella said.

“It’s a country in Europe.”Rosalie told her.

“Have him give you accurate information about where the safe house is and make him tell you whatever else you want him to.I’m going to call Tanya.”Isabella ran a hand over her face.”This shit just got even more complicated now that we have a Volturi turn coat involved.”

“What should we do with Johnny when we are done with him?”Rose asked.

“Make him forget talking to us.Then make him report back any new vampires he recruits and any information on the group’s movements.You know,the basics.”Rose had done this enough times that Isabella knew she would know what to do.

“I’ll have Rosalie help me.”Rose figured it would be yet another good learning opportunity for Rosalie.

“I don’t mind helping.”Rosalie would happily help Rose.It would be good to know how to implant commands like ones that turned others into spies for them.

“Good you guys have fun with that.”Isabella walked out of the shack and stopped on the beach next to the ocean.She took a deep breath and released it slowly trying to calm her thoughts.This trip was turning out to be one of her more complicated ones.Usually she dealt with one threat head on and went home.Even with the killer robots there was a clear enemy.This time it seemed that the one enemy had turned into two and then the two turned into three.That wasn’t even counting the random vampires who were going to no doubt show up to get Bella’s help.Most of which Isabella knew would try using violence to get the girl to comply.Sighing she reached for her phone.It wouldn’t do to wallow. She needed to focus and get this done with because she wanted to get home and that wouldn’t happen until everyone was safe.
