“Carlisle and Edward have left.”Tanya said as she read the text message sent by Jasper out loud to Rosalie and Isabella.The trio were having a nice time sitting in the meadow surrounded by animals while getting to know each other.Tanya had hoped that they would have more time alone but it seemed Carlisle and Edward were determined to make her life difficult.”I hate to say this but we need to go back and speak to the others to see what is going on.”

“I would rather we didn’t.However I understand why we must.”Isabella said.

Rosalie sighed.”I don’t want to go.”

“Just think the sooner we deal with those idiots the sooner we can dedicate more time to each other.”Tanya was already making plans for her mates when they had time to themselves.Plans that included a secluded location where no one could bother them.

“Come on let me up.”Isabella gently pushed a reluctant Rosalie off of her lap.

“Are you sure we can’t just kill the pair of them?I mean it would solve all of our problems and we would be safe from them in the future.”Rosalie thought that was the best idea.”Two less idiots in the world would benefit many people.”

Isabella chuckled.”I agree it would be better to get rid of them but it wouldn’t be right.”

“I hate that you are taking the moral high ground.”Rosalie grumbled.

“I am the goddess of life my love.”Isabella reminded her.

“Maybe you could ask whichever god or goddess is involved in vengeance to help us out then.” Rosalie said.

“I promise you don’t want Lyssa involved in this.”Isabella knew the goddess would take things entirely to far and probably cause the mass extinction of the vampire race.

“Who is Lyssa?” Tanya asked.

“She is the goddess of wrath, anger and rage.”Isabella told them.”I know she would be more than willing to help us with this issue but I don’t even want to imagine all the damage she would do in her quest to deal with Carlisle and Edward.”

“Then we won’t involve her.”Tanya shot that idea down right away.They didn’t need another goddess added to the mix.Especially the goddess of rage.It was Tanya’s hope that they would be able to get through this whole situation without violence. She knew it was not likely to happen but she still hoped.

“Well I still think we should keep her as an option.”Rosalie said as she reluctantly got up with Isabella’s help.She put her arm around her mate and reached for Tanya’s hand. They may have to go deal with something serious but Rosalie wasn’t going to stop herself from taking every opportunity to be affectionate with her mates.

“How do you think Kate is doing with the dog?”Isabella asked.

“She probably already has begun training it.I know she has at least bought it all kinds of toys and treats when she went shopping for it.”Tanya was just happy she and her sisters had separate banking accounts because she could already imagine how much money would be spent on the dog.”I wouldn’t be surprised if she was looking into having custom collars and clothing made for it.”

“She probably roped Alice in to help.”Rosalie was sure Alice would like the chance to dress up anything including a puppy.She wondered how she was going to keep Alice in check when it came to dressing their children.

“I bet she did.” Tanya agreed.

“Why did you get Kate a dog?”Rosalie asked Isabella.

Isabella shrugged.”I know Kate is very afraid of me and wished to show her that I was harmless.It will take a lot more than giving her a dog but I hope in time Kate will see me as a friend.”

“It will definitely take more than the dog to get her to let down her guard but it was a step in the right direction.”Tanya wanted Kate to get over her suspicions of Isabella before the babies came because Tanya didn’t want Kate to miss out on being involved with the children’s lives.

“Hey guys.”Irina greeted when the trio made their way into the clearing in front of the Cullen’s house. The blond was sitting on the grass with Eleazar, Carmen and Jasper watching Kate, Emmett, Edith and Alice play with the puppy.

“Oh shit you’re back.”Kate yelped as she grabbed the puppy and started to slowly back farther away from Isabella.”You can’t take her from me.I already named her that means she’s mine.”

“I’m not taking the dog away from you Kate.Once I gave her to you she was yours.”Isabella told her. “I am simply here to spend time with my mates.”

Before Kate could go off on a tangent Tanya spoke.”Kate be nice.Isabella has never done anything to warrant your constant suspicion.Not only that but she gave you a pet.Something that all of us have wanted might I remind you.She is my mate and I won’t have you being rude to her anymore.There are certain things in motion that make it more important now than ever for us to come together as a united front.”

“What things are in motion?”Jasper asked in concern.He was having a hard time keeping himself from going to Isabella.Although the feeling wasn’t romantic he was drawn to the woman’s emotions and wanted to experience what it felt like to be near her again.

“First we need to discuss Carlisle and Edward.What occurred while we were away?”Tanya wanted to deal with those two before she told them about the babies.

“They had been up in Carlisle’s study since the incident with Edward’s human.They didn’t say a word to anyone when they finally came out but went to their own rooms, packed a couple suitcases grabbed Esme and drove away in Carlisle’s car.”Irina told them.

“I’ve been focusing on them but they haven’t made any decisions on where exactly they are going.”Alice said.”I personally believe Edward knows how my gift works and is trying to trick it.”

“Is Olivia safe?”Rosalie asked.

Alice nodded.”Yes, they are already out of the area.”

“At least we don’t have to worry about that.”Rosalie said.

“For now. Who knows if whatever they are planning has to do with the girl.Edward isn’t the type to let things go and I doubt he has comes to terms with Olivia not being his mate anymore.”Jasper would be beyond surprised if Edward got over his obsession with the human.He actually couldn’t believe that Edward didn’t try to kidnap her again.

“I personally think they are going to try reaching out to allies to get a group to go against us.”Tanya said.

“Why would they want to go against us?”Emmett asked.

“Isabella took away Edward’s gift and in his mind his mate as well.Even though he doesn’t know for sure how it happened. Then there is the fact that Rosalie formally left the Cullen coven and is now a Denali and we all changed to drinking human blood. Carlisle’s pride has been wounded badly and without his favorite son’s gift and his obvious loss of control over his coven he will want to act.He’s to petty not to.”Tanya explained.”That isn’t even including the fact that they know of not only Isabella’s threat but her mate bond with both myself and Rosalie.”

“Yeah we all know how Carlisle and Edward feel about gay people.”Irina would bet that just for that alone Carlisle and Edward would pick a fight.Their homophobia was well known.

“Isabella believes they are mated to each other.”Rosalie smiled when she saw the shocked expressions on the group’s faces.

“No I said that either they are mated to each other or Carlisle is in love with Edward.”Isabella corrected.

Kate laughed as she set her puppy on the ground to play tug of war with it.“Oh man that makes so much sense.”

“If true that would explain a lot of their behavior.”Eleazar agreed.

“I have felt their love for each other but it is overwhelmed with self loathing which would make sense if they were unhappy about being mated.”Jasper hadn’t really paid to much attention to the pair’s emotions as they always made him depressed.He had just thought the two were unhappy as some vampires got when they had lived for such a long time.

“How does that explain Esme?”Carmen asked.

“Carlisle is using her as his beard.Esme is a meek woman who would never say anything without permission from Carlisle.He probably chose her to be his mate just because he knew he could control her. He did know her when she was human.So he saw what her life was like.”Edith wouldn’t be surprised if Carlisle had something to do with Esme’s child dying.He was a selfish man after all and if the child got in the way of his plans Edith didn’t doubt he would kill it to get his way.

“So knowing all this what do you think they are going to do?”Emmett full heartedly agreed that Carlisle and Edward were mates.He had always had his suspicions but never solid proof. If Isabella,a goddess picked up on it then it had to be true.

“Like I said they are probably trying to gather allies. Who those allies are I’m not sure.”Tanya knew that Carlisle was friendly with numerous covens and nomads but didn’t know if he was close enough to them that they would help him in his vendetta.

“Do you think he would go to the Volturi?”Rosalie asked.

“Not right away. Although they are known to respect him the kings don’t completely trust Carlisle.They are worried about the fact that not only has he chosen to drink from animals but has convinced others to do so as well.With that and the number of gifted vampires he has collected they think that he will eventually try and overthrown them. I personally believe they would send him away hoping that if Carlisle himself wasn’t killed then maybe some of us would be.”Eleazar said.

“At least that means we won’t have to worry about them right away but I’m not naive enough to believe they won’t come for us once they hear we have a goddess as a member of our coven now.”Tanya expected the Volturi to send scouts to investigate as soon as they learned about Isabella from Carlisle and Edward.

“So how do we prepare for when Carlisle and Edward confront us?Do we stay here or can we go back to Alaska?”Irina would prefer to go home.They were better able to defend themselves as they knew every nook and cranny in the hundreds of acres that surrounded their home.

“I think we should go home.”Kate was as the same thought as Irina.It would be a better place for them to defend themselves.

“What do the rest of you think?This is your home so it is up to you if you want to leave.”Tanya wasn’t going to force anyone to come with them if they didn’t want to.

Edith looked to Emmett and received a nod.”Emmett and myself talked about it and we were wondering if you would accept us into the Denali coven.”

“Alice and I would also like to ask for an invitation.”Jasper said.

“I personally have no problem with you four joining us.How about you guys?”Tanya asked her coven.

“I’m perfectly fine with it.”Kate would like having more people around.It got boring sometimes being around the same people year after year.

“There is enough room.”Irina said.

“We don’t have a problem with it either.”Carmen agreed.

“Then it’s settle you are all members of the Denali coven.”Tanya was pleased that it worked out this way because even though Rosalie was unhappy in her coven Tanya knew she still liked the four members enough that she was going to miss them.

“This is so awesome.We are now a part of a coven with a goddess as a member!!!”Emmett was already making plans of hanging out with Isabella and asking her dozens of questions. He knew that she had some amazing abilities and he wanted to see what she could do.

“How is that going work?”Alice asked.

“I will be splitting my time between earth and my realm.I wish I could simply stay here but I have duties that can not be ignored.”Isabella told them.

“We will make it work.”Rosalie was sure they would find a way to be together as much as possible.If what Isabella said was true about her and Tanya being able to visit her realm then in the future they might be able to go with her when she left earth.

“Yes we will.”Tanya said.”Now why doesn’t everyone go pack up the things they want to take to Alaska with us.We will rent a moving truck to fill it with the stuff you are bringing.”

“I get to drive the truck!!” Emmett volunteered.

“Oh man I wanted to drive the truck.”Kate grumbled.

“You will need to ride in a car so you have enough room for your puppy to be conformable.”Irina told her.

“Oh yeah.”Kate instantly felt better realizing that she would be able to play the puppy the whole way.

“Would you mind if Alice and I rode with you three?”Jasper asked shyly.

Tanya and Rosalie shared a look both knowing why Jasper wanted to be in their car. Rosalie nodded in agreement.”We don’t mind Jasper.”

Jasper smiled brightly.”Thank you.”

“No problem now every one get moving. I want us to be on the road in a couple hours.”Tanya said shooing everyone away to go pack.She followed Rosalie up to her room with Isabella trailing behind her. It would be hard to control herself from taking advantage of being with both of her mates in a soundproof room but Tanya would. The only reason being that as soon as they got to Alaska they would have a chance to have complete privacy. Hopefully they could get started on the baby making and if Isabella wasn’t comfortable yet to actually conceive maybe they could still enjoy each others company minus any clothing.
