“So Edward has been spreading rumors of Bella being able to use her shield the same way you do?”Tanya’s voice asked coming over the phone line.Rosalie had called the coven leader as soon as they were in private with Isabella shielding her and Rose from sight and sound.After explaining the situation Tanya was of course upset and now they needed to plan on how to proceed with the new information the trio had been able to get at the bar.

“Yes, he has also been telling people that Bella is his mate and that you have kidnapped her.”Isabella told her.

“I’m going to kill that bastard.”Tanya growled.

“I will help you.”Rose offered.

“Something else was told to us that we haven’t confirmed yet.Apparently Edward has gone to the Volturi who turned him away.”Isabella said.

“For fuck’s sake.”Tanya cursed.”Now we don’t only have to deal with Edward, the Romanians and random vampires but the Volturi as well.”

“I personally think that Bella is how he is getting people to help him.If he is able to convince others that Bella is actually his mate he is probably promising that once they have Bella she will give the shield to the others.”Rose couldn’t think of any other way Edward would get others to follow him unless he promised something big in return for the help.

“He probably went straight to the Romanians after the Volturi sent him away.”Isabella added.

“It would make sense for him to do that.”Rosalie agreed.

“Hopefully that means the Romanians are letting Edward lead the mission to get Bella then.That would limit some of the forces that are coming your way.”Isabella was trying to figure out how to help Bella while they were so far away from her.

“I wish no-one was coming our way.”Tanya said.

“You may have to start thinking of turning Bella soon.Even as a newborn I can train her well enough that she would be able to shield herself.It would make her much safer than if she was human.”Isabella had already shown Bella enough that once she was turned Bella would be able to protect herself.

Tanya sighed.”We had wanted to let her have more time with her father but I know that you are right.”

“You really don’t have time to wait.From what I understand Edward has been away from you guys for months.That is a lot of time to tell others about Bella.I wouldn’t be surprised if you started getting visitors very soon.”If this Edward was like the one Rose knew then he would be telling anyone would listen about how bad he was wronged.The boy loved to be pitied because when he was Carlisle and Esme babied him and catered to his ever whim.

“How should we deal with them when they come?”Tanya asked.

“As Bella is still human it will obviously be your number one priority to keep her safe no matter what.However try not to lead with violence.If you can talk with those that approach you may be able to explain that although Bella can shield her own mind that she is not the vampire they are looking for.”Isabella paused as she thought over what she said.”Actually it may be a good idea to wait until everyone is back to turn Bella.That way if challenged you can show that she is human.Explain that she is Edward’s singer.It could convince a few of them that Edward is just a vampire who has gone insane due to being kept away from his singer.”

“Yeah and if we are there then Isabella can take credit for the shield and explain that not only is Edward not her mate but she isn’t a part of your coven.After a demonstration it should convince enough people to spread the rumor that Edward was wrong and might keep others from searching you out.”Rose said.

“I can also defend myself if someone wishes to resort to violence to get me to comply with their wishes.”Isabella could already predict that she was going to be in many tussles in the future.

“When will you be back?”Tanya asked.

“I want to make contact with the vampire you sent us after.Once we have interrogated him and get the information we need we will make a plan from there.If you are truly worried about your safety I can send Rose back to help out.”Isabella ignored Rose’s shake of the head. She knew her friend wouldn’t want to leave her but they might have to split up to keep everyone safe.

“I don’t want to pull her away from something important so lets wait and see if people actually show up.She can get back quickly if we need her though right?”Tanya asked.

“I can have her be there in less than a day.”Isabella told her.

“Then we should be fine.It is more important to find out if we have an army coming to our doorstep.”Tanya said.

“In the meantime talk to the wolves and ask them to widen their patrol area.Tell then I said not to kill any of the vampires unless they attack first.We don’t need a coven coming after them to avenge one of their members.Use Kate and Emmett as point of contact. Maybe even have the pair of them work with the wolves on patrolling.”Isabella figured that if a vampire was able to explain that the wolves and their land were off limits then it would lessen the fighting.She wasn’t naive enough to think that it would stop fights from breaking out but it would help keep them to a minimum.Especially if the wolves were able to corner a few of them.

“I’ll get in touch with Sam.”Tanya said.

“Besides that have you heard from the others?”Isabella asked.

“Irina and her group have searched Edward’s apartment but it seems like he hasn’t been there in a couple months.Now knowing that he is drinking human blood and is hanging out in vampire bars it will give them more places to search.”Tanya said.

“We should have sent Irina with a vial of the blood replenishing liquid to change her eye color.”Rose could have slapped herself for not thinking it would be a problem for Irina to have gold eyes.

“It could be helpful for her to not have red eyes.Edward has been claiming he was from an animal drinking coven.If people saw that Irina drank from animals then it might make them reach out to her with questions to see if Edward was telling the truth.”Rosalie said.She stood up a little straighter when she noticed the look of pride she was getting from Isabella.She may not be as skilled at warfare as the others but Rosalie was a quick learner and she liked the fact that Isabella was noticing her progress.

“Rosalie makes a good point.”Isabella agreed.”Can you please contact them and explain all that we have learned and inform them of what we plan to do about Bella? Maybe they can squash some of the rumors Edward has been spreading.”

Tanya sighed.“I’ll get on that.Hopefully we can undo some of the damage Edward has done.”

“Good we will be in touch.”Isabella disconnected the call.”Now we need to find that vampire.”

“What are we going to do when we get him?”Rosalie asked.

“We are going to interrogate him.Once he tells us everything we want to know Rose is going to make him forget we talked to him and command him to gather more information and contact us with it.”Isabella told her.

“And you trust him to do it?”Rosalie didn’t doubt Isabella but she was still getting used to how powerful her gift was.

“Of course because he will be unable to stop himself.Only death would release him from the command.”Rose said.

“Jesus.”Rosalie was still unsure if she would ever become as skilled as Rose with her gift.She would be happy to even be able to do a tenth of what her counterpart could do.Following after Isabella and Rose Rosalie felt grateful that they allowed her to come on the trip with them.She had already been exposed to more things in the day she had been with the pair than she had her entire vampire existence.Rosalie imagined after this was over she would have a better understanding of how the world worked especially when it came to how to deal with different threats. She was getting real world experience and hoped that because of it her family would finally respect her opinion and treat her as more than just a bitchy blond.
