Every Time It's You Chapter 11

"Siobhan!" Isabella cheered as she and Rosalie returned from their trip to the mall and had made their way into the Cullen's house meeting the group minus Edward and Bella in the living room. Isabella paid no attention to the others in the room as she threw her arms around Siobhan and hugged her enthusiastically. Not only did she always love to see the vampire but if Siobhan was here that meant they were able to find Maggie and Isabella was one step closer to getting home. Hopefully they would find Garrett soon and she wouldn't miss her entire anniversary

Siobhan wasn't sure what to do about the vampire currently attaching themselves to her but figured it had to be the Isabella woman they had been told about. She awkwardly patted her on the back and pushed her away. "It's nice to meet you."

Isabella sighed. "Oh Siobhan always so prickly. No matter where or when I meet you, you never greet me with a smile. Why if I was less secure in knowing your love for me I would honestly think you hated me."

"What?" Siobhan asked confused. She had been told Isabella was a bit strange but she wasn't excepting this.

"Don't worry about." Isabella looked at the rest of the vampires in the room and focused on Maggie and Irina who were cuddled up on the love seat. "It seems you have been united with your mate Irina, congratulations."

Irina tore her eyes away from Maggie's." Yes I did and I have you to thank for that."

"No need, it was the right thing to do." Isabella waved away the gratitude. She would have never left Irina here with a false mate. No one deserved that. Especially when that false mate was Laurent.

"Why do you smell like human food?" Emmett asked Rosalie as she kissed him softly in greeting.

Rosalie thought about what to say and decided to just go with the truth. Even with blocked minds she doubted something as huge as eating human food would be kept secret for long. "I was eating human food."

"Gross." Emmett scrunched his nose in disgust. " Why would you want to do that?"

"Isabella gave me a liquid that allows vampires to eat human food like they were human. You can taste everything like you had human taste buds and the liquid she gave me helps our venom break down the food so we don't throw it up." Rosalie told the group.

"Interesting." Carlisle said. "So you’re saying you were able to eat human food with no problems and that you could taste the actual flavors?"

"Yes. We spend the last few hours eating in the food court at the mall. We had these things called dip and dots that were amazing. It's a type of ice cream that is somehow fused into little balls the size of bbs. When you eat a spoonful they taste just like ice cream. It was incredible." Rosalie said.

"I enjoyed the jalapeño poppers the best. Though the onion rings weren't to bad." Isabella really would have to find an onion plant to take home with her.

"So what you are saying is now Isabella has magic potions that make us partially human?" Emmett asked.

"Well they aren't magic." Isabella corrected. "They are just made with ingredients not found in most dimensions."

"Who cares if it's not real magic, the thing we should be focusing on is do you have any more and can I try it to?" Alice asked. She was already mid planning a romantic date with Jasper after he got his gift under control that now included dinner at a fancy restaurant.

Isabella shook her head. "I'm sorry I don't have any left I gave the rest to Rosalie so you will have to ask her."

Rosalie felt all eyes on her. She knew the polite thing to do was share with the others but the gift had been given to her by Isabella to make her happy. "I only have a few. Not enough for everyone."

"Maybe you would be willing to let me have some to study it, to see if we can make our own." Carlisle was thinking how revolutionary such a thing would be for the vampire world. They wouldn't have to force themselves to eat meals in front of humans just to keep suspicion away from themselves. For him personally it would be nice to not have to throw up the meals he was served at the many hospital banquets he attended.

"We'll see." Rosalie said not promising anything. Maybe before she left she could ask Isabella to bring more back for her when she returned with the daggers. She also wanted to ask her to bring back some car parts even an engine would be amazing but she didn't want to over step her bounds to much. Isabella had already been reluctant to come back with the daggers so she didn't want her to think Rosalie was taking advantage of her.

"Isabella I was wondering if you had any information about the three of us like you had with the others." Seeing Isabella's confused look Liam explained. "We were told of your help training Kate and Jasper's gifts as well as confirming an overlooked one in Rosalie. We were wondering what you knew of us."

Nodding in understanding Isabella spoke. "Well let's see you Liam are a strategist, Siobhan has the ability to continue building muscle mass and then there is Maggie's gift of truth detection and manipulation."

"Vampire's bodies don't change Isabella. We can't build muscle mass." Eleazar told her. This was the one thing he was sure Isabella was wrong about. Vampires were frozen in the body they had when they were turned. You could only take away from a vampire's body not add to it.

"What do you mean truth manipulation?" Maggie asked at the same time Eleazar spoke.

"First off vampire's bodies do have the ability to change just not usually naturally. There are many different things that can modify a vampire's body to give it enhancements. I believe the traleif I gave Rosalie is proof enough of that." Isabella told a surprised Eleazar. She then addressed Maggie's question. "As to manipulation, you have the ability to tell if someone is telling the truth. The second part of your gift is you also have the ability to make someone believe anything you are saying as absolute truth."

"So I could make anyone in this room believe anything I say?" Maggie hadn't really tried to do much with her gift as vampires usually only had one gift.

Isabella nodded. "Although I can personally block your gift and Rosalie's, the block I placed on others won't. Not because I couldn't modify it to but because I have always trusted both you and Rosalie not to misuse your gifts. Plus the numerous pranks I've seen the both of you pull using them are hilarious."

"That's just great." Kate threw her hands up in the air. "I get my ability to use my gift on others blocked and Rosalie doesn't."

Rosalie smirked and shot Kate a wink. "Payback’s a bitch Kate."

"Have I told you what a wonderful person you are lately, Rosalie?" Kate asked sweetly. "I don't think I have expressed how much I admire the way you never hold a grudge."

Irina laughed at Kate's predicament. They always had to deal with Kate's antics and now it seemed not only were they immune to Kate's gift but Irina's own mate had a way of messing with Kate. Rosalie was right payback was a bitch. "Can you help Maggie with her gift? That is if you want help sweetheart?"

Maggie smiled shyly at the term of endearment."Yes I would appreciate some help as I do not have a clue how to go about using it."

"Actually I think Rosalie would be the best to help you. Your gifts work in similar ways. The only real difference is that Rosalie can compel someone to do something and you can convince them what you’re saying is true. You both manipulate the brain just different parts of it." Isabella told them.

"Would you be willing to explain what you meant when you said Siobhan had the gift of increasing muscle mass?" Liam asked very interested in what Isabella was telling them. If Maggie could learn the new aspect of her gift that would make their coven even more powerful. "Also you said I was a strategist. What kind of gift is that?"

"Well I should first tell you that neither of those things are gifts."Isabella said. "As for you being a strategist Liam, it is exactly that. Your mind is set up to analyze any situation and factor in all components to always turn any situation you are in into a positive one for yourself. Your brain is specifically wired that way. I bet when you were human you were a leader of many people."

"I was." Liam confirmed. "I led an army against the English when they tried to take over my village and many others."

"There you have it. Siobhan your ability is also not a gift. Something simply happened to your body when you were changed. Whatever made up your human body reacted differently than a normal human would when venom was introduced into your blood stream." Isabella explained.

Siobhan thought this through. "How could that be though?I've never heard of a vampire that could gain muscle mass before."

"If it isn't common knowledge that vampires’ bodies can change then they probably didn't know." Isabella shrugged. "You didn't. Then again how many vampires continue working out after they are turned."

"I guess that makes sense." Eleazar agreed. "But still you said there were different substances that could enhance a vampire's body what are some of those?"

Isabella sighed. "I would love to talk to you all about that but I need to know how finding Garrett is going. I am enjoying my time here with all of you but not only do I wish to be reunited with my mate and my Rosalie, I'm also really close to missing my entire anniversary. As of now I've only got about 12 hours in my dimension to go before the day is over."

"Oh yeah. I had a vision of him going into a bar but we haven't been able to figure out where the bar is located." Alice told her. She really didn't want Isabella to leave but she understood her need to. Alice herself wouldn't want to be away from her mate for unknown amounts of times in places she couldn't have contact with Jasper at all.

"Great. Now how about I help you guys with the blocks I assume you want and then I will be happy to talk to you Eleazar." Isabella told the group. She was usually a very upbeat person but this trip was starting to wear on her. Looking at her watch that was set to her dimensions time she estimated they had about until sundown the next day to find Garrett before she would miss out completely on her anniversary. Although Tanya would be understanding Isabella knew she would be upset if she missed it completely. Especially if Edward and her sisters were the reason the trip took so long.
