What if EVERY Beach was a NUDE Beach?

New Zealand is one of the few countries in the world that has no laws against being naked in public places. If this doesn't sound like heaven on earth to anyone who enjoys a good skinny dip now and then, we don't know what does. So we travelled to the Coromandel in search of places that are known to be visited by naturists. But we quickly found out that the medal has two sides.

Exactly! We're not saying that it wouldn't have been any different if the nude beach was official, but then at least an official procedure needs to be followed and the people can't say that they didn't know it was a nude beach. It's a bit like people building a house close to the airport (because land is cheap) and then complain about all the planes passing by...

At the end, you describe a very common problem: Loss of terrain due to encroachment of development. I've experienced way too much of this in both of my passions: naturism and road bicycling. People move to the middle of nowhere not knowing (or caring) that the area has been used for years by naturists (or cyclists), complain that naturists (or cyclists) are nuisances, and BAM either a ban gets enacted or it just becomes too uncomfortable or unsafe to be nude (or ride).
