That’s the gist of his character design, I long theorized he’s a heavy duty, tank-like last wall of defense type of bot like an iron goal keeper, whether or not Ginny’s father brought him in as a servant after the war is up in the air 🤷♂️

2023-03-28 02:23:18 +0000 UTCMr. Garrison has always evoked a sense of familiarity, and it was just now that I realised that he vaguely reminds me of the Iron Giant - similar build, similar role as the oversized guardian ward of a human charge, even similar design aspects like the ball-socket joints and forearm-guards. Even his name, *Garrison* - like… a military garrison? Maybe that’s why he’s among outmodes, he might be some sort of decommissioned machine soldier-turned-domestic servant.
