Pathologic, FTWWNPI (Haruspex's Route - Intermission 3 + Day 8 PREVIEW)

Hey y'all!

Here's the preview for Day 8, as well as for the intermission that will break up Day 7 and Day 8. A couple voice lines are still missing, as per usual, but I'm expecting the last batch of lines to roll in over the course of the next week or two. Once I have those in hand, I'll be uploading a new version of both this and Act I+II.

I am also quite confident about Day 9 also coming together by the end of the month as well, so keep an eye out for that as well~

That is for later though. For now, I hope you enjoy <33

I watched your Bachelor videos a few days ago and now I'm chewing up these Haruspex updates like a big cat with a pumpkin! Thank you for sharing them with us. I'm definitely learning alot about both theather, Russian culture and they're releation to each other. I also found the discussion about friction and difficulty quite engaging. Your quality of work is amazing! While I'm a new fan, I am quickly becoming a big one!

After having looked at it long enough, and especially after coming to understand Chekhov's sense of humor, I can absolutely see the humor in it. There's so many layers of irony, sarcasm, and absurdity that does give it kind of a vibe that you could absolutely produce a comedy out of. Like, as symbolically bleak as the ex-serf being left to die with the house and land that enslaved him is, it's also undeniably kinda funny to see this old servant left behind because they simply forgot about him and his response to that effectively being 'Oh. Okay. Good. Yay.', especially since the original script makes it kinda ambiguous as to whether or not he knows about the demolition. That said, I think I do still have to side with Stanislavski on this one and say that yeah, the bleakness of it all it's probably best staged as a drama.

It sounds strange to say, but I absolutely see the humour in The Cherry Orchard. I wonder if it is something that is only funny for someone who has both had abuse in their teenage years and then become sick and somewhat angry in adulthood. The ironic revenge of the ex serf against both the previous owners and the older serf who thinks that he should have stayed in his place, is actually quite funny, in a dark way
