Base progress!

Just wanted to update you on this weeks tutorial I am working on.
It hasn’t turned out exactly how I planned, which was going to be a simple split of:
Week 1: Painting the base
Week 2: Water effects
Instead I have painted the river bed, and a minimal amount on the rest. I just poured the water today, so now I have to wait two days for it to dry! I think this way works better, so if you make any mistakes with water you didn’t waste so much time invested with the painting.
I am happy with how this is turning out, and currently experimenting with the best way to achieve moss. In part 2 I will finish painting the base, and part 3 all the water effects such as splashes and Ripples. Plus fixing any inevitable errors!
I am excited to see the final outcome, and am sure this will be a lot of fun for people who haven’t tried it before!
