it was a weird month plus, hey! audiobook preview!

okay, so you probably noticed the absence of death vigil this month. it's not because i wasn't working on it but this month i had to face some issues about the structure of the story. see every one of my books has a certain pagecount... that tends to increase out of control. there are... limits to that and the good graces of my publishers

death vigil is a large book, this volume will break 200 pages and the larger the book the bigger the costs to it. i won't bother you with the minutia of printing shipping and handling, but point is, i had a certain idea of how i was going to handle a very important plotline, but it would bloat the volume to 300 pages which is an actual problem. so instead with some clever restructuring i will be introducing the plotline through a series of insert moments through the story so far... that means there will be pages added between the existing volume so far it is a bit tedious but the payoff will be immense.

so, have patience, the update will come next month and it will be quite interesting

now beyond that, while this is something that is usually covered in the 6 dollar tier i'm just too giddy about it. for a while now i've been writing a novel, letters to the vampire queen. while it is a sideproject that started off as a bit of fun (as they all do...) it grew into something i take very seriously these days

usually chapters are released in written form as a part of my secretkeepers of the mirror tier, but i wanted to give you all a gift. i hired a professional audiobook reader/writer to do a quality reading of the first 200ish pages. a few days ago i received the first chapter sample as a quality check and it floored me. that is the audio file you see attached to this post.

in other news, ally and lisa 3d sculpt has been finished and is this time prepared for print and presupported by a professional who will be preparing my other sculpts as well so that side of things will finally go into full gear.

also this upcoming month i expect to deliver another big batch of pages for the novel alongside the full 200 page audiobook read.
