Added 2024-11-24 08:06:49 +0000 UTCOn one hand, I'm so glad he sang multiple songs, something I would've loved for Jimin to do. On the other hand it's a shame it didn't follow the format of the show and was more of a self promotion format which is fair enough because he is a member of the BIGGEST group on the planet so that's a fair compromise.
I really enjoyed hearing more of Jin's voice. His CONTROL especially when it comes to his vibrato and intentionality shows how comfortable he is with his instrument.
His songs also sit in the PERFECT part of his range so he stays confident and warm. His upper belts really impressed me too. Also any of his technical drawbacks don't hinder his delivery and I think he's a great example of keeping your unique quirks but still being technical enough to be able to control your voice and have a relaxed delivery.

2024-11-24 13:19:11 +0000 UTCi feel like jin is such a comfort member for me. like obviously the entire group is my comfort zone but jin as a person and his music always manages to make me smile. idk if it's his sincerity and like he said his happiness stems from others' happiness, but even if he puts out music that isn't 100% my style, i don't even care because i'm not even focused on that. the way his music makes me feel whenever i'm in a dark place or just having a stressful day, it's like his singing is a warm hug. glad you enjoyed the reaction and i also enjoyed this video when i first watched it because i was surprised how relaxed he was singing, especially when he was sitting down. i'm no singer but i for one definitely notice the difference when singing while sitting and standing so it amazes me when people can sing consistently whether they're standing or not.

I have loved Jin’s voice since he left the military, not that I didn’t love him before but I find him more confident, comfortable and confident with his voice now. The songs he chose in his album seem perfect , I hope for him to continue in this way , I really love it. I’m looking forward to BTS coming back as a band, I’m really curious to find out how they will make music after being able to express themselves musically with distinct styles on each side.

2024-11-24 12:22:27 +0000 UTCIt's just a suggestion in case you want (and have the time) to react to it, but you already have heard half of his album on Lee Mujin Service, so if you film your reaction to their duet, you can maybe also react to "Another Level" with it. It's one of the two other b-sides from this album, it's one of those songs where I can't be sure if you'll like it or not x) Personally it's my favorite but we often have very different taste, it's also one of the most popular songs from the album with the duet with Wendy. The last b-side (I will come to you) won't interest you much I think. It's a simple piano-voice ballad. Anyways, it's just a suggestion because I'm curious x) And it was in case you didn't wan't to film for just one song. I understand you have limited time and there is so much content. 2024-11-24 09:27:31 +0000 UTCHey ! So, overall very much agree with you about the format of the show. I also noticed that both Jimin and Jin were the only ones to to do it differently. On one side I'm glad to have been able to hear several songs from this album in this kind of settings, on the other I would love to hear some nice covers by Jin. I think the best compromise would have been to keep "Falling" for the duet because it's still new with Mujin on it (and I loved him on it so definitely want to keep that one) maybe his title track and then singing at least one cover. But anyways, really happy that he was there, it was a lot of fun as usual with Jin. (Like you, I can't wait for 07 variety content next year!) And I enjoyed his vocals. I also love his new album overall (it's very much my style so I'm listening to it non stop since the release) and like you said he really looked comfortable and sounded good overall. I guess his album is not very much your style overall, so I wasn't really expecting a reaction to the full album but I was wondering if you were going to listen to his duet with Wendy ? (they sound amazing together and they also performed it live together once). Or have you heard it already ?
