His vocals however, I'm super surprised that I never noticed the lack of adequate breath support in his higher range and how limited and lacking in resonance his sound is. I hope he works on this, it also could've been nerves cos on Boys Planet he'd always blow me away, maybe it's also the mics.
Or maybe on Boys planet is was smoothed out? I dunno but I was a little surprised but still enjoyed many moments in this especially the duet!

*Fixed the issue, so for some reason sometimes the screen recording lags for a couple seconds at random points so i'm not perfectly in sync now but it's much better*

Seeing this makes me think u should react 2 zb1 taerea show season 2 bec it made me realize how much of good singers a lot of them are but I would also like to hear your critique on them 2

I noticed his body language seemed more tense when he was singing too but props to him for sounding that good when heβs nervous bc i know i would struggle to even sing on pitch π thanks for the reaction as always!!

2023-11-09 04:43:38 +0000 UTCI was actually really surprised and a bit disappointed by the songs hao chose to sing for this episode because so many of his pre-debut vocal videos were songs that highlighted his lower range. I wonder if he or wk1 have decided to focus his voice more in the higher range to βfitβ in the group/songs they produce. Even in his insta/bubble lives when he covers songs his voice doesnβt sound as thin as in this this episode :/

It's a shame that he was so nervous because I think I've heard him more stable/less shaky even in his pre-boys planet videos, but considering this is his first solo gig and the fact that he loses his Korean a bit when he's nervous, he held himself really really well. I just love that we get to have him as an idol/the center of ZB1, he's such a breath of fresh air as an idol to me!
