It certainly seems a rugged & fast action, well-suited to such an update. Perhaps the next episode will reveal more about attempts to bring this appealing action into the modern age? Hope s,o! [NB: I think I may have inherited my dad's love for single-shots; he grew up on a farm during the Depression, & would get a hiding for wasting ammo, so had a real love for the simplicity & elegance of single shot rifles. He got a look of rapture on his face when talking about Ruger's release of his model 1!]
