Also, thanks for the record donations! If 100% of YT monetization disappeared we'd still be ahead.

Don't worry, we're hitting it all

Awesome video! Are you going to do a show on the "Winchesters in War"? For instance, the 1895's were used by Russia and Mexico; the 1897 and 1912 shotguns were used by the US- which really upset the Germans; and the 1894 was issued to Royal Navy Minesweepers, French Army transport troops and couriers, and even US Signal Corps troops to protect spruce forests for making airplanes. Just an idea. I'm sure you have a ton of material yet to go through. Great channel and staff!

this may have been y'all's best one yet!!!!!

So hot when people say Garand correctly. You may have trouble with foreign names but you sir, can speak Canadian.

If you do get another '03 you could just post another short video of Mae trying it out and link it to this one.

re 28:48: by my estimate a gold swiss franc contained about $11.20 of gold assuming current ($1200/oz) prices. So 79 SF = $885. French francs were the same. I just bumped my monthly pledge up. Where else in the entire world am I going to find a hour long video about WW1 era greek rifles? This channel is worth paying for.

Othias, May and company, Thanks so much for this channel. I thought I was well versed on firearms history, but I've learned a lot from you folks. My favorite period of firearms history is from the end of the American Civil War up to and including the Great War. So much was changing so fast in that period that it boggles my mind. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic Episode! And I'm not sure why, but using just the rotary feed mechanism as the thumbnail/intro photo really made me chuckle :)

It really is fantastic.

Thank you

Othias, I'm more than a little jealous of your gun collection and that Mannlicher-Schönauer carbine you have. If C&Rsenal ever takes applications I'd throw mine in. I've always been in awe of the provenance of some of these old and rare firearms that's why I appreciate what you do and how well you do it. Anyway, I look forward to every episode but I've especially been looking forward to this one. The Mannlicher-Schönauer is probably one of the most beautiful rifles of the war and I'm dying to get my hands on one, along with every other gun in this series. You can see where my jealousy comes from. Anyway, great job and I'm glad to know you are getting the funds you need to keep the show going. I hope you get more.
