Introducing Mark

You guys asked for more Mark, we spent today experimenting at his still-being-assembled shop.

Still interested?  Should we keep working in this direction?

More Mark and Bruno please.

Cods

We have a few books in the reference library, I'm not sure which we selected from.

C&Rsenal

Quick question: do you guys have a copy of the _Encyclopedia of Cartridge Conversions_ to refer to, or did Mark start off w/ .303 British just on his own best guess? Fun episode, I definitely support seeing more of Mark!

Bruce Brodnax

The custom machining required to get your episodes to completion is fascinating. It's also a pleasure to see a master at his work, and Mark certainly is that!

I enjoyed it, too and found it very interesting. How big'a gun nerds are we?!

James Bond

Well done!

Robert Borger

Awesome! I loved it!

Well explained, well shot — Love it!

Sebastian Hiller

This kind of content is a part of what makes C&Rsenal stand out. The attention to details is very engaging.

Steely

C&Rsenal

daww thanks

C&Rsenal

I liked it. I know next to nothing about reloading, so this was an excellent introduction to the process of making unusual ammo out of stock stuff. I'd like more.

Leonard Heinz

Yeah, more info on how we can get these old guns firing again, from cleanup to manufacturing ammo, is always welcome. Mark is cool too, very articulate and explains things well.

Sean Wolf

Awesome video!!! I'd love to see more behind the scenes work, range footage, whatever. It makes me appreciate the finished episodes more, and it's a cool look at what can be required to keep these old warhorses running. As someone new to C&R guns, the personal lesson I'm taking from this is: invest in reloading, or go ammo shopping BEFORE deciding what rifle to buy :)

Christopher Dooley

Everyone involved in C&Rsenal seems like such good people. Also, this was a good lesson on reloading.

paul h

I wish I could meet the crew and talk for hours on reloading and old firearms. Does Mark have any tips on 8x56r?

TwentythreePER

Could watch this stuff all day. Very interesting and not something you see very often...a skilled gunsmith working historical guns and reproduction ammo. Please keep them coming.

Yes, well done. Guided tours through firearm history (in association with The Great War), firearm introduction/presentations, pleasing personalities, a hot chick shooting guns and now you have shop presentations. What an awesome channel. :-)

Definitely.

Bill Smithem

Yes, very informative.

Doc53

Absolutely yes!

Excellent! This sort of content would be well received. Keep 'em coming!

What die is being used?

Very interesting. You should expect indignant posts from those who use one of the other 99 ways to accomplish a task. I'd like to see more.

Great video. Keep 'em coming!

Roberto Servadei

This helps complete the picture of what it takes to get an episode out. A lot of work and passion by some very talented and knowledgeable people.

Paul Crew

Excellent video! Makes me appreciate the work behind the Primer series a lot more!

Petter Bøckman

Definitely YES!

Michael Schumacher

He's got good camera presence and shows a valuable part of what it takes to keep the old guns going - so YES!

Aw Fisk

I think he's more likely to not lose the pencil

C&Rsenal

YES! Absolutely! Please do more of these. That was very enjoyable!

Thank you Mark, learned something new about reloading. Didn't occur to me that such a long bullet wouldn't go in perfectly straight. Definitely not something for a progressive press.

Joseph S.

Yes get Mark some pokeyhands! Maybe it can be another milestone goal on Patreon?

Baron Engel

I like watching Mark, it's always good to watch skilled craftsmen. Keep it up!

Benjamin K

Wow, you really have to love these old guns to keep them shooting. Thanks guys.

Richard Balison

good stuff

Yes, keep this kind of stuff coming. Thanks!

I like it. Rifle at the end was really looking weird with the top shoulder thingy that goes up going past the bottom hand guard.

Sean

Definitely do more. I love watching these type of videos!

William Truong

Love it, but you need to get Mark his own patented plastic pokey/pointy hand!
