Case Study: Learning to Say "No"...

Good morning!

Lots of folks have asked me to share more about detachment, codependency, and finding solid boundaries with people you love. And absolutely, I've got you.

Today, I'll share a case study of one significant relationship in my life, and how I've learned to say "no," without being ice cold or apologizing for the bound. Maybe my story will be helpful for you.

As always, please don't share these details off of Patreon. I paywall my personal stories for my own safety, and count on you all to respect that.

Case Study: Learning to Say "No"...

Comments

Thanks so much for this. Whether or not I can directly relate to your situation, the message of "I want to be available without self harming" is SO, SO, SO helpful. It feels very aligned with my Buddhist spiritual/relational practice, which is about working to minimize violence and harm both to myself and others, but in a balanced way. Because you can't pour into others if you have nothing in your own cup for yourself. Also, thank you so much for the timestamps and transcripts -- they make your video ccontent much more accessible, and easier to go back to and reference. You rock, and thanks for all you offer.
