We have a Koppen climate classification system that has about 25 different biomes on it, from really hot and sandy, to wet jungles with dense plant life, to cold and snowy. One moon. Year is 365 days long, axial tilt is 22 degrees so the variation in temperature can be about -50C to +50C. Three gas giants in our home system, a few of which have moons we might be able to terraform. Large biodiversity, millions of species, a couple dozen of which are suitable for domestication. We've had agriculture for about 10,000 years now."

Feeding animals antibiotics has been a major contributor to antibiotic resistance. Cats giving humans toxoplasma...Seems like the Loroi intuitively grasp the grossness of having animals around. (But we still love them.)
