I wanted to figure out a way to give everyone over here a bonus that was cool, without invalidating the whole Kickstarter thing or being super gameable, so, here's how this works:
- If you are a Patron as of the end of next month (July)
- ... and you're still a Patron when we distribute birb keys (next year, probably earlier than June), then:
- If you back below $50 (Thicadee), you get a FREE KICKSTARTER UPGRADE and get the back-catalog of games + OSTs. So you can back below Thicadee, and still get the entire back-catalog of our games and music, plus the development GIFs and images and stuff.
- If you back at or above $50, you get an extra set of the back-catalog keys, AND, an extra SkateBIRD key. And also the in-development GIFs and stuff.
The way I'll be looking at whether you qualify for that as a Patron is super simple. It tells me when you started backing, and it tells me if you're still backing me at any given time. So I just make sure you're an "old" patron from now, and see that you're still a patron when I go to send out the keys, and tada, you get the upgrade. Yes, I know this is gameable if you really try and time it carefully, but I don't want to confuse it any worse. It's fine. Game me if you must ;)
