Plans for 2024

We've got a whole year of development on the horizon. Even though I've been working on this game for several years, the start of the year feels like something new and a chance for me to refocus. I don't want to do an exact road map because the last few times I did, things didn't go as planned. I feel like it's a set-up for disappointment. I want to be completely transparent with you all and I think the best way to go about that is to say that I'm simply doing as much as I can. I wanted to give you all some idea on what to expect in terms of the content itself though.

The Episodes

I release four episodes in 2023. I don't want to say I'll do more or less in 2024. However, I think it's a reasonable goal to try and shoot for that, if not do better. I don't know how long each episode will take. I never know these things until they're done. Putting a number on it isn't as important as just getting to work and producing as much as I can. I won't rush to put out as much content as I can just for the sake of putting out content. And I won't go slow if I happen to be ahead of a previous year's pace. I'm just going to work as much as I can and as hard as I can to put out these episodes, especially knowing how things are going to ramp-up.

The Girls

There's still plenty more to do with all of the girls. I'm not just talking about finally going all the way with Vanessa and Riley. I know it's the most important thing to get some action and I'm carefully plotting and navigating through all of these moments with all of the girls to continue to spice things up.

In addition to the potential for all kinds of new sexual interactions, there's more to discover about the girls themselves. Relationships will continue to evolve. You'll learn more all about them and what makes them tick. You'll form new bonds with them and the bonds you've already formed will only continue to grow stronger.

Without getting into specifics and avoiding spoilers, I'm excited about what's going to happen this upcoming year with all of the girls. Everything is moving in the right direction.

Is this finally the year you can get down and dirty with Vanessa? Is this the year all of you Riley fans who've been patiently waiting for a 'Pursue Riley' option finally get it? Is this the year? Well, I guess we'll find out by the end of the year.

The Story

I had planned on long-term storytelling from the beginning. There were things I'd decided before even Episode 1 was in production that I haven't gotten to yet. If I can manage to put out enough episodes, I might be able to see some of these things finally come together. These are major story elements that go beyond your relationships with all of the girls.

If you're following the story closely, you'll see that there are some big plotlines that you're going through right now. I consider where you're at right now to be a middle arc. Once this middle arc is done, you're headed for the closing arc. If I don't get to it this year, I want to at least set everything up to head toward the final arc of the story.

I know you're all here for the girls but I'm excited about everything else that's going to happen. I've been planning these moments for years at this point. I hope we can get there this year.

On Episode 14

Episode 14 has a lot of new locations with elaborate sets and lots of characters. Right now, I'm still in the building phase. I have most of the locations and characters ready. I just have to get the finer details on a couple locations done as well as fine tune everything. My plan for this episode is to have absolutely everything done from the props to the setting to the characters to the lighting done all at once. That way I can just go straight to renders and focus on them without having to turn my attention elsewhere. I know it seems like common sense to streamline it this way and I probably should've done this sooner. The problem is that something always pops up like I forget about a character or the lighting is weird or a location doesn't render out how I'd like it. I'm getting all of these things done now so there's no preliminary phase and I can get to rendering the story. Thanks for your patience while I continue to learn how to do things better.

I want to give everybody a chance to play Episode 13, so I'll hold off on a recap until later. I plan on having a few more posts this month including special renders, polls, and philosophy. More of the usual. If you're expecting a new episode this month, I highly doubt that it'll happen.

This is my first post of the year (not counting those New Year's Renders). This is your project as much as it is mine. I'm grateful for the trust you've put in me and I'll do my best to try and live up to any expectations you have. I can't wait to see what's over the horizon for all of us. And beyond the game, on a personal level, I wish you all a happy, healthy, prosperous, and peaceful 2024. Let's all have a great year.
