A (Very Loose) Road Map Update

I always plot out episodes with scenes that lead into the next episode. I do it episode to episode so that everything falls in an orderly fashion. Also, doing it this way will make it easier to connect things even when they're far apart when they occur.

I have big events and moments all planned and I know where things are leading up to. Like I always say, I know where the destination is and I just have to get there.

I've been plotting out Episode 12 and making scenes leading up to the next big events, I also started planning out the next few episodes. While I was doing all of this I realized something: there isn't much story left to tell.

All of the major story and plot points I've been building toward are close. I realized that there are only a few steps to take and loose ends to tie up before I get there. And when I was plotting things out, I realized that I actually managed to (loosely) plot out every episode all the way to the end.

What's the point of all this? I'm telling you this because it's a bit of a 'Eureka' moment for me. I take things episode by episode. My focus is on the episode I'm working on and what happens next will naturally fall in line based on what I have planned and what's already happened. Working on Episode 12, I realized the things I've planned so long ago are right there.

Up to this point, I've just been working on updates to progress the story episode by episode. I've been trying to get to a destination on a map. Now I can actually see it in the distance, even though it's far away. If I were to estimate, I'd say we're more than halfway there. Things can always change, of course.

I'd like to point out that this is all relative. I've plotted out the story to the end but the actual production time of all this will still be significant. I'm only one person and I'm doing my best to finish your story but the reality is that there's a lot of work to be done. There's no telling how long it'll take. Knowing I've come this far though has given me a certain sense of pride and a bit of enthusiasm. But I only made it this far because of you, so thank you for support and your patience. I can't thank you enough.

Episode 12 is a big story episode. Lots of important things happen that I'm excited to talk about when it's released. Having said that, I've got a few scenes to finish rendering before I start animating. I'll have a more in-depth progress update next week.
