Just read this excellent article about some underwater archaeology in the United States, making use of a lot of techniques to uncover canoes dating back to 4500 years ago. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/archaeologists-using-sunken-dugout-canoes-learn-indigenous-history-america-180985638/

OMG! The ads!! Isn't there SOME way of supporting extended videos such as this one without the horrible interruptions; I'm especially thinking of the end of the segment on the WWII aircraft memorial, very solemn & moving and then cut short by some ridiculous ad. I found myself constantly muting the sound to avoid these!

I'm never able to make the live chats, but I so appreciate all of the extra content available to patreon members. Time Team rocks on patreon, and I'm thrilled to be here 🤩

The same Roman knife handle found in the river at Piercebridge by divers Bob & Robert over 20 years ago and broadcast on a TT episode featuring the wonderful Philippa Walton? Why is this presented as news? Or is the real news the fact that it is finally to be put on display? I’m very confused.
