We joined forces with Cotswold Archaeology and the military veterans of Operation Nightingale to investigate an extraordinary Anglo Saxon site in Gloucestershire. But what started out as a straight forward excavation of a 1400 year old cemetery, takes an unexpected turn, dialling the clock back several centuries and leaving the team scratching our heads about what exactly we are unearthing. A must watch this Christmas.
