Added 2020-11-19 17:03:00 +0000 UTCBack when I drew this as a commission, I didn't even know the Anime, but I watched it recently and wow, I enjoyed it more than I first expected! The contrast between the pretty light hearted and almost slice-of-life-y aspects of the party's adventure (which I liked a lot) and the focus on gore and r*pe (which feel pretty cheap) is super fucked up. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy this drawing of the lovely Sword Maiden! <3

2020-11-20 03:05:41 +0000 UTCI don’t mean to be that guy but the manga is pretty good. The anime adaptation was done really well but I think it doesn’t convey well the relationships between characters like the manga did.

2020-11-19 21:25:06 +0000 UTCI thought it was refreshing in a way.. not that I really like r*pey things, but because so many 'fantasy' settings are so sanitized that they don't feel genuine.

2020-11-19 18:27:26 +0000 UTCYeah, the scenes related to that are tough to watch, but thankfully they only pop up in any sort of detail three times in the whole show. Not even the movie showed that sort of thing (though it is implied at one point, I think?)
