Some viewers have asked about Kevin's Karuhat shirt that he often wears on the podcast. It's a shirt we once made to help support Karuhat, but that we discontinued. So many people were into it we recreated it, with 100% of the net profits going to Karuhat himself:

Thanks for the info about the Muay Khao shirts I'll pick up an order sometime! As for the book alright no problem I will sort it out with Thaismai!

Hi Daniel, I really have no special communication with Thaismai. I walked into their store more than a year ago and bought several copies. It's really beyond me to sell the book myself. Just going to the post office is a pretty big burden given me packed schedule. I've had readers who have bought the book through email communication with Thaismai, and had no problem, but that is just anecdotal. I don't really know much more than that. The Women's Muay Khao shirt is unisex sized: https://bleedingedgegear.com/collections/sylvie/ << it's not a woman's design, it was a summit attended by women. I wish you luck in your search for the book! Thank you for all your support.

Hi Sylvie, thanks for putting up the Karuhat shirt up for sale again! I bought some in support of Karuhat and I like the design too! I would totally be willing to support fighters in the same way, like your Muay Khao shirt, if a men's fit existed. Or in support of the many legends you have on here. On a somewhat related note, I was wondering: I tried buying the green book from Thaismai remotely from the states and they were requesting payment through bank transfer. I didn't feel comfortable with the process over email. If you are still in touch with the owner I would be pretty happy to purchase via cc or PayPal through them and I bet others would be too. I saw that you auctioned a signed copy in the past. Any chance of either you selling or working with Thaismai to sell? If not I'll find another way to purchase, I think I saw one other site online that sold it but I wanted to ask you first through your channels before going for it.

Excellent content again. Growing up Theravada Buddhist, I'd like to add some concepts to "Oht-tohn" and "Ning" The Oht-tohn or tolerance of pain, suffering, etc. concept in Thai Buddhist meditation should not be confined to time period. It should not be fixated in the past or the future; otherwise "Ning" or calmness cannot be truly attained to further true "Oht-tohn". As an illustration, if you were told that you would be locked up in an elevator or a big bank safe box for 24 hours, you could set a future goal of enduring and tolerating the suffering of being confined for 24 hours because you knew a relief was eventually coming (but this is not true mastery of Oht-Tohn). In contrast, if you were like the Thai-soccer-team boys who were trapped in the dark cave and did not know whether you would ever be rescued at all . . . sitting in a confined space and thinking about the future goal of getting out would probably lead to anxiety and eventual panic. Instead, those boys under the guidance of their coach (who was a former monk) meditated according to the classic Theravada Buddhist practice of just focusing on the calmness of the here and now and never thinking about the future or the past - to be completely "Ning" and okay in the current state. In the long run, they were able to "Oht-Tohn" the entire duration when it was uncertain whether they would ever make it out or not. In the latter case, the Oht-Tohn was timeless and powered by "Ning," which is one of the essence of Theravada meditation. It was not an Oht-Tohn for 24 hours, or other fixed periods... it was forever if need be. Not sure if this applies to Thai fighters Oht-Tohn of not just tolerating the rounds, but throughout the entire fighting life....... how do you view that as a pro-fighter? We often talk about fighters training physically for toughness, but from those Thai soccer boys, we learned that mental toughness is also key to survival, as those boys had zero special forces training... but that "Oht-Tohn" and "Ning" concepts in meditation may have saved them. To be "tough" and Oht-tohn not by anger, etc., but by "Ning."

Thank you for the heads up! It should be corrected now. Here is the link too https://youtu.be/ELUX7D6MiBQ
