We continue our exploration of the cursed realm

Here are two more of these. I have more sketched up, so expect more soon.

So this leads me to my question. Would you like for me to save them up into larger posts so that i dont spam you with these, or do you want them released here as soon as they are done? Please let me know in the comments.

The Shepherd King

He who owns a million sheep. Shepherd of his flock. Commander of a thousand warriors. Ruler of the rolling hills.

The Shepherd King claims descent from the Cursing King himself, yet his forebears were expelled from the holy capital of Hurriaä during the Sundering Wars that followed the Cursing of the Realm.

Like his father, and his father’s father, he now rules a great tribe of fierce nomadic warriors and claims dominion over the Great Plains that surround the capital. Here, they graze their innumerable flocks of sheep, slowly moving their mobile tent city from pasture to pasture.

From his great tent-tower on wheels, the Shepherd King rules his people and strikes fear into any traders unfortunate enough to cross paths with this rolling white carpet of sheep and tents.

There, he hosts a court of other exiled elf nobles, each harboring their own bitter enmities against the Serpent King of Hurriaä.

One day, the opportunity may arise—one day, they may reclaim what they believe is rightfully theirs.

Outlier household

Not everyone in Tenehu lives in walled villages, though most do. As the land of the realm is meagre in bounty and harsh by nature, one must be eager to exploit whatever resources can be found—be it a small pasture, a mine, or some other valuable deposit. If such a thing is discovered, a family might set out to claim and work it.

They build a defensible homestead and, by circumstance, become hard men and women.

Often, these settlers live in relatively close proximity to their mother village, and trade between them is of crucial importance.

Because these outliers often control valuable assets, rival princes will fight bitter

Ah, he is an elf! I should probably have made that more clear!

Can the Shepherd King really claim lineage to the Cursing King himself? Assuming he's human, I didn't know that elves and humans could crossbreed. That opens up another can of worms in regard to racial tensions with elf descendants.

OVERLORD
