Added 2022-12-13 23:31:49 +0000 UTCWe decorated our tree! Every year when we open our boxes of ornaments we're faced with the fact that after over 30 years together, we have amassed a ridiculous number of tiny festive dinosaurs and airships.
There are also robots, adorable woodland animals, probably Sir Isaac Newton, and a saucy witch, but by far the largest categories are dinosaurs and airships.
I was out sweeping the leaves off the walk again this morning when I looked up to see I had an audience of crows. They were very patient today, they'll usually yell at me if they think I don't see them.
Hmm, what else? The house is still a chaotic mess with stuff everywhere although it's getting better. I made pancakes and an eggnog cake to get the eggnog from Thanksgiving out of the fridge. Nobody was going to drink that stuff and the cake actually turned out pretty good--I got the recipe from C&H sugar, so I'm pretty sure it's got twice the sweetness it needs since the eggnog sugar was already up to eleven.
