Here he is, grumpy little munchkin having a grumble.
Yes, it is Cabin Fever podcast time, where I shall be filling you in on the trials and tribulations of the last couple of days as well as looking ahead to our bit of time together.
I also find time to have a muse on computer games and some further thoughts about toy dealers (I don't have good thoughts on them).
I also recorded this by pushing through an official viral throat thing, so let's just compliment me for being diligent if not interesting,

I feel like we could discuss collectibles, grading, etc. for hours. I just got back this morning from visiting the owner of the worlds most complete collection of Pokemon cards and he is also 100% against grading. The only graded cards in his collection are cards where he was unable to find a raw copy. I do feel that if my collectibles of choice were action figures then there would be more chance of me picking up loose figures, less than mint copies etc. for display purposes. A damaged figure can be given new life in ways that a damaged trading card can't. The whole discussion does remind me of a few years back Mark Hamill started a #BeatTheDealers hashtag on Twitter to try and help educate people on fake Star Wars items, particularly signatures of his, since some "authenticators" had been giving CoAs to forged signatures of his, either for malicious reasons or just ignorance. (There was also a time when some trading cards showed up featuring some very "not Star Wars appropriate" comments and a Mark Hamill signature, but those did turn out to be real with Hamill admitting that he had made the original owner promise they would never be shown publicly, but that's a whole different story).
