Lightbox Unboxing Video

Hello there

A very happy new week to you, and here is inaugural video with my new Lightbox and a genuine unboxing.

I think it's gonna take a bit of time for me to properly get my head around the Lightbox (or "portable photo studio" as it proclaims in the instructions).  It's very simple as a piece of kit, but I'm sure there are tricks I need to empty to get the most out of it.  This is my first effort, but I suspect it may require a different lens for the camera that's a little more focussed in.  I know nothing of lenses, and I made a film once (I temporarily learnt some of them for that, but that information has long since left my head).  They might not even be called lenses.   Them things you stick on the front of the camera to look at the thing you are filming and they have different uses in how they make the picture come out.   Them things. That's what my best director BAFTA speech will be like.

Anyways, feel free to have a look, and you might benefit from watching it on the computer or iPad as there's a couple of lovely little Easter eggs in here that may well be missed on a phone screen.  That may be me assuming that everyone's eyesight is as bad as mine in fairness.

Hope you have a lovely week ahead and can get cosy

All the love

Watched this initially just to see how the lightbox looked (and it's great, I'm definitely going to have to get myself one), but then just fell in love with the figures. I've met Pluto and Mickey, and saw Donald from a distance during a time where they weren't allowed in close contact with the guests. A lot of the idea behind blind boxes seems to be to do with promoting trading of duplicates. Japan at least do make it nice so that if you do want a full set then a sealed box with always have one of each figure. Unlike western releases where everything has different rarities and a sealed box will get you half a set and a load of duplicates of the commons.

I should have pretended I made them

Those are fantastic!
