HELL yes, this movie is so good! 😂 Beautiful, intelligent, perfectly balanced between action and artistry, and fully confident that its audience can pick up on the context as it goes. I love just how much of a passion project this was for everyone involved. Denis Villeneuve brought the story to life in full splendor, the costume and set designers created such a gorgeous, alien yet familiar world, all the actors fully engrossed themselves in this Shakespearean setting, and god DAMN was Hans Zimmer cooking with the soundtrack! This is the movie Dune fans have been waiting for for decades, and I couldn't be happier that it's been so widely acclaimed. Oh, and that jump when Paul used the Voice in the tent. Priceless. 😆 Can't wait for Part 2 to hit streaming. It's gonna be a RIDE. Hehe.
