I mean, I seriously doubt YOU would be willfully ignorant of queerness, Cody. 😆 Like I said on Discord, I'm just very protective of these silly children. And hey, in all fairness, Raine's main VA is transmasc nonbinary themself, and they subscribe to the idea that Raine is the same. Heck, even younger Raine's VA is an enby! The Owl House crew did a great job with representation.

The show takes a sort of 'no queerphobia' angle when it comes to life on the boiling isles, and I think that translates into the topic of queerness not really being something discussed, the same way 'straightness' isn't discussed in our world. But this shows human world is still like our human world, so 'coming out' is a thing in the human world, but not in the boiling isles! (At least, I'm 99% sure about that. Considering they never bring up sexuality or gender identity in the boiling isles) Also! Idt you noticed on first watch, but when Eda and Raine were kids, Raine changed the 'flavor' of Edas drink to make it taste better by whistling into the cup. And the ending scene with Raine getting the tea, you see that they whistle into it before drinking it! Meaning they've been secretly changing the composition of the tea since day 1, which we can actually see them do at the coven parade episode! (It's really subtle, but you'll hear Raine whistle into their tea right before drinking it), it's such good foreshadowing! So yeah, Raine has been putting on an act in front of Terra so she thinks they're under her spell.
