Feedback Needed: Handling Public Patreon Posts
Added 2018-02-22 01:46:49 +0000 UTCAside from the occasional people grumbling about a chunk of my art being "behind a paywall" I have been wondering about updating my policy of how I handle publicly posted Patreon content.
Raffle pics and request drawings will stay the same, since I do post those (and let the requesters post their own drawings if they feel like it) but my concern is the Poll Winners, as I tend to not have a consistent schedule with posting older Patreon pics, and honestly feeling cringy about posting my old drawings given my improvements and style shift in the recent months, so I have 2 ideas I wanted feedback on:
Hold a poll to decide which monthly poll winners gets posted publicly
or
Just leave it up to me with my personal favorite.
Kinda leaning towards myself picking the drawing since, I feel like I do too many polls as it is, and also concerned that whichever character(s) were first place in the character polls will just win again.
And then there's the "have my cake and eat it too" option, but I'm not sure if posting 2 of the 5 monthly drawings would bother any of you guys, I do want MOST of my drawings to be exclusive to you guys, because otherwise whats the point? XD
So yeah, let me know how you feel! I'll have Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy done by tonight or tomorrow (we'll see how long it takes). :)
