Leah Clearwater is the only female shapeshifter in the pack there could be others but it would most likely be from another tribe or there aren't any that is known. though yes Sam did dump Leah for Emily but he cheated on her first of all and just leaves her broken. Leah Clearwater is a misunderstood character and is known for being all bitter and angry all the time and that's because of Sam and Emily, her loosing her father and her becoming a wolf because its the same with Rosalie , Leah would not have any opportunities like having to have her own life and she can not have children and its never known if she would even imprint in the future to break the connection she has with Sam still. Leah Clearwater basically deserves better in both the movies and books. she is though my favourite character in this saga
