If I had to list the top 10 guitar solos, this would be one of them. The ranking would be very high. I have stolen almost everything from this solo for my own playing. You can hear one quote in the outro solo of Everybody Wants to Rule The World.
This solo is really a mix of everything from blues, latin to soul and rock. Buzz really shines on this guitar solo. Synergy is a 1999 studio album by jazz-fusion group Dave Weckl Band.
