hi my loves! this is me playing Garun A by Komitas on Piano in March 2018 in the college practice rooms. This piece of music in composed by a famous Armenian composer, Komitas, and it is about the Armenian Genocide (which sadly continues to this day). My great-grandparents and grandparents are survivors of the Armenian Genocide and this piece of music is my favorite to play on piano.

By this point, I started re-learning the piece from my sheet music I saved that was given to me by my piano teacher back in high school. I think I took a few piano lessons around this time (based on my most recent vlog videos) in order to have some accountability and help in re-learning the piece. sometimes it's easier to hire someone in order to motivate myself to hold myself accountable to follow through on something. so in this case I might've had 3-4 piano lessons as a way I held myself accountable in order to learn more of the piece.
