So Weird To Be Home

I'm back and settled in, well... kinda.
I still have flashbacks from the road, mostly positive ones at that. It's awesome being home and seeing my family, but it's also awesome to know that when you are on a big shoot like CNC, you will be able to see something new or meet new people every single day. To pass from town to town and make it your own for a little while. To try new foods for every single meal. It's an awesome time, and it'd be awesome to be able to do it with my family. Maybe when Olivia is older she will want to adventure with her dad too.
Speaking of Olivia, my beautiful daughter has grown a lot in 40+ days. She couldn't say anything but gibberish before I left and now she can say "fish - 鱼, dog - 狗狗，want - 要，uh-oh - 哦哦，and hi! - 嗨” I am happy she is getting some Chinese under her belt (diaper?) but I'd like to hear some English too!
Before I left, she could barely take two steps, now she can actually run. She's a little slippery thing, and she's hard to catch. She also has a nasty little habit of climbing high up on things and then falling off. We will have to correct that at some point. I bought her a paint your own Russian doll, but she was more interested in painting me and the kitchen table. Missed that kid like you wouldn't believe.
My lovely wife is pleased to have me home too, although she said the house was super clean before I arrived and detonated my 40 days of road laundry and other crap all over the living room. Yes, yes, I helped clean up. (You are not reading this right Vivi?)
I am editing my first vid after being back right now about how I proposed to Vivi. It's a pretty funny story, and I hope you guys enjoy it. I'm actually super psyched to be able to sit down and edit properly instead of pumping out iPhone videos. It's nice to put some polish on decent footage, although not many people seem to care about visual quality and editing on YouTube these days. I know a lot of you guys appreciate it though, so it's worth it!
