Just thought of this while the boys were riffing on the possibility of the UFOs being secret corporate technologies. Seems more plausible then getting Mars or the Moon to work.

Anytime some company puts out a press release, especially if it's a entrepreneur or an upstart of some kind every single local outlet just copies and paste that thing into an article doesn't even think about processing what it says.

So to the degree poverty is linked to crime is the degree to which crime creation is government policy. Government policy creates the crime and then tells us how much we need cops to stop crime. Hell, cops don't stop crime, they just clean up after it.
