He didn’t dream that he took the statue down. No. In his dream, race riots broke out over the statue and in its violence, innocent people died. So he woke up in the morning and yanked it down with his truck. God bless.

It doesn’t need “saving”just like i dunno make music you wanna make right? If you like old country music fuckin cool go write some fuckin Waylon Jennings ripoffs we don’t have enough of those around here as it is. Thirdly I’d love to see somethin like a bust of blues singer, queer icon and Chattanooga native Bessie Smith up there in that damn capitol. So much music history to draw from here ya know?
