The Lusty Lizard Hiatus

Things are looking rough for The Lusty Lizard and CL3. Earlier this year, I had to take on several extra freelance gigs in order to make ends meet, which has slowed the progress of Crash Landing 3 to a snail's pace. There have been many setbacks over the years, but I always pushed through in hopes of making The Lusty Lizard my main livelihood. In an attempt to make that a reality, I turned down more and more paid work so I could focus on Lusty Lizard content as much as possible.

Despite some loyal and fierce support from a modest following, I never quite reached the numbers I was hoping for to pay the bills.

I'm not throwing in the towel yet—not by any means—but CL3 progress will continue to be stagnant for the time being as I deal with these financial issues. I’ll be revisiting things over the next few months and will update you all on how things are looking. For now, I’m going to leave my Patreon as-is for those who wish to check out CL3 in its current state, and for those who feel gracious enough to continue supporting the project during these tough times.

I’ll be freezing the Discord temporarily, as I’ve been unable to be present in any meaningful way. I appreciate my mods very much, but it’s my server and my responsibility. I’ll never be able to fully convey my gratitude, and I’ll try my best to recover from yet another disappointing setback.

I hope to be back soon with my slutty little alien friend I created all those years ago on a whim—just because I loved googie art and French twist hairstyles!
